Incheon City Integrates Jeonse Damage Support Centers to Reduce Citizen Inconvenience

Incheon City is integrating its previously divided support system into a unified Incheon City Jeonse Damage Support Center to address citizen inconvenience related to jeonse (Korean housing lease) damage support.

Until now, victims experienced considerable inconvenience as jeonse fraud damage reports were handled by the Jeonse Damage Support Center, while Incheon-type housing stability support programs were processed separately by Incheon City.

Going forward, victims will be able to receive comprehensive support at the Jeonse Damage Support Center, including not only victim applications and legal/financial counseling but also Incheon-type housing stability support programs such as loan interest support, temporary monthly rent support, moving expense support, guarantee fee support, and emergency living expense support.

Incheon City Strengthens Transportation Capacity During Lunar New Year Holiday

Incheon City will implement special transportation measures during the Lunar New Year holiday period.

This initiative aims to provide convenient and safe travel options for people returning to their hometowns.

The city announced that it will work with relevant organizations to increase transportation capacity for express/intercity buses, coastal passenger ships, and subways for 10 days from January 24 to February 2.

To support holiday travelers, the measures include increasing the frequency of express buses, intercity buses, and coastal passenger services (passenger ships and ferries). While subway ridership is expected to decrease compared to regular days due to reduced commuter demand, the city will extend the last train service by one hour on January 29 and 30, adding six additional trips to accommodate late-night travelers.
