The Incheon Free Economic Zone(IFEZ) announced today (20th) the opening of the 'Future Mobility Global Forum' at Songdo Convensia, which will discuss mobility innovation research and research cooperation between Korea and Europe.
The five-day forum, running until the 24th, is co-hosted by the Korea Stanford Center and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) of the Netherlands.
The forum will feature expert presentations and discussions on the theme of "The Impact of Mobility on Cities and Society." The organizers announced that the event will particularly focus on expanding research collaboration between Korea and the Netherlands, sustainable smart city design, and in-depth exploration of the potential applications of the latest mobility technologies.
Incheon City Strengthens Special Environmental Pollution Control Ahead of Lunar New Year Holiday
Incheon Metropolitan City will implement special surveillance measures to prevent environmental pollution ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The initiative will be carried out in stages over a 17-day period from January 20 to February 5 to prevent illegal discharge of environmental pollutants during the holiday period.
A city official stated, "We will do our utmost to protect citizens' health and maintain clean water quality through these enforcement measures."
Incheon City Expands Free Interview Suit Rental Support to Give Wings to Youth Employment
The free interview suit rental service, essential for youth employment in Incheon City, is being expanded.
Incheon Metropolitan City announced today (20th) that it will expand its 'Dream Narae' project, which aims to reduce the financial burden on young job seekers and provide practical job search support.
This policy was established to alleviate the employment costs for young people facing rising prices and changes in the job-seeking environment. Starting this year, the support items have been expanded to include free rental of interview attire such as full suits, shirts/blouses, shoes, and neckties.
The service is available to young people aged 18-39 who are currently registered residents of Incheon or enrolled in universities located in Incheon. Anyone can use the service by submitting proof of upcoming interviews and job search activity verification documents.
