Incheon City Activates 24-Hour Response System Following Cold Wave Warning


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it has activated a 24-hour emergency response system after a cold wave advisory was issued at 9 p.m. February 3.

To minimize damage caused by the sudden temperature drop, the city is strengthening real-time weather monitoring and focusing on protecting vulnerable groups while implementing emergency measures.

Additionally, the city has set up a reporting system through the ‘032-120 Michuhol Call Center’ to swiftly respond to frozen water pipes.




Incheon City Intensifies Efforts to Reduce Road Resuspended Dust


Incheon Metropolitan City has announced plans to reduce road resuspended dust by deploying 33 cleaning vehicles across 72 high-risk areas throughout the year, with a budget of approximately 3.8 billion won.

Road resuspended dust consists of fine particles accumulated on roads due to vehicle exhaust emissions, tire wear, and brake pad abrasion, which are then stirred back into the air by passing vehicles. It accounts for 35.8% of Incheon’s total fine dust emissions. To maximize dust reduction, the city is adjusting street-cleaning routes and frequency, while also expanding the operation of cleaning vehicles.





Incheon City to Provide Additional Municipal Subsidies for 2025 Electric Vehicle Supply Project


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it has launched its electric vehicle subsidy program starting from February 4.

The program will supplement the existing subsidy system by offering additional municipal support, enabling more citizens to purchase electric vehicles with reduced financial burden.





Incheon City Recruits Investigators to Support Fair Tax Collection


Incheon Metropolitan City has announced the recruitment of 14 citizen investigators to assist in identifying and managing overdue local tax cases.

The investigators will be divided into five indoor roles and nine field roles, working from April 1 to November 28.

Office-based investigators will handle tax payment guidance and data management, while field investigators will notify individuals with outstanding taxes, listen to their concerns, and identify low-income individuals eligible for welfare support.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and registered as Incheon residents as of the announcement date (February 5).
