Incheon Speeds Up Global Agro-Food Market Entry
Incheon City will expand exports of local agricultural products by opening another permanent sales center in Canada. The city also plans to support leading export groups and join international expos to explore global markets.
Last June, Incheon opened a sales center at Yorkmills, the largest Korean market in Toronto, Canada, and exported 30 tons of Ganghwa Island rice and 35 types of processed foods.
An Incheon official said, “We will expand exports starting with Canada and continue to support local farms and businesses for growth.”
Incheon Hosts ‘Vision Book Project’ at City Hall Station Open Museum
Incheon City Museum will hold Vision Book Project: AI Dream Stories from February 11 to 26 at the Open Museum in Incheon City Hall Station on Subway Line 1.
The event, organized by the Korean Educational Welfare and Culture Association, shows how elementary students in grades 3 to 6 used AI to create and publish books about their dreams.
Visitors can view the books and access book trailer QR codes at the exhibit. Admission is free during subway hours near exits 1 and 9 on B3.
Incheon Seeks Participants for Urban Garden Program
The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center is accepting applications until February 20 for the 2025 Welfare Urban Garden Program.
The program will choose one senior welfare facility with a garden or space for one.
From March to November, the program will teach 16 sessions on crop growing, pest control, and eco-friendly farming.
Incheon Symphony Orchestra to Perform Dvořák Symphony No. 6
The Incheon Symphony Orchestra will hold its 430th concert, 2025 Classic Essence II: Dvořák Symphony No. 6, on February 22 at Incheon Art Center Concert Hall.
The concert will be conducted by Jeong Han-gyeol, with pianist Kim Gyu-yeon performing Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6.
Tickets are 10,000 won and available on the Incheon Culture and Arts Center website, NTicket, and Interpark Ticket.
