Incheon City Golf Courses Undergo Annual Pesticide Residue Checks
Incheon Metropolitan City Research Institute of Public Health and Environment announced its biannual inspections of pesticide residue levels in soil and water at ten golf courses in the area.
These evaluations will take place during the dry season (and rainy season in compliance with the Water Environment Conservation Act.
The Institute's spokesperson emphasized, "These inspections reflect our dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of Incheon citizens as they enjoy their leisure activities.“
2025 Incheon Skills Competition Scheduled for April 7–11
The Incheon Skills Competition Committee has announced that the 2025 Incheon Skills Competition will be held over five days, from April 7 to April 11.
This competition aims to enhance technical skills within the local community by promoting the development of craftsmanship and recognizing outstanding professionals through awards. The initiative is designed to boost morale and encourage workforce motivation.
A total of 34 categories, including industrial drone control, will be featured in this year's event, which will take place at six venues, including Incheon Mechanical Technical High School.
Incheon Launches Family-Friendly Green Initiative with Stamp Tour
The Incheon Foundation for Women and Family is hosting the "Green & Play" Stamp Tour, inviting families with young children to enjoy eco-friendly play activities while raising environmental awareness.
This initiative serves as a platform for participants to learn about the significance of protecting the environment and adopting sustainable lifestyles, while rejuvenating the "Dream Sites" for community growth.
The tour runs from April 5 to May 31, and participants can complete the mission by visiting three or more Dream Sites, taking part in five eco-friendly activities, posting their experiences on social media, and doing one eco-friendly action. Those who fulfill the mission will be rewarded.
Nation’s Top Theater Festival to Open in Incheon This July
The 43rd Korea Theater Festival, the pinnacle of South Korea’s theater scene, is scheduled to run from July 5 to 23 in Incheon.
Incheon Metropolitan City has announced that the festival will be held under the theme of “Theater Lands in Incheon,” featuring a range of performances and side events.
The festival will showcase works by theater troupes representing 16 provinces, chosen through regional preliminaries, at venues including the Small Performance Hall of the Incheon Cultural Arts Center, Seo-gu Cultural Center, Cheongna Bluenova Hall, Munhak Theater, and Art Platform.
