Incheon City Recruiting Agencies for 'Overseas Korean Job Training for SMEs'

Incheon City has announced that it will be recruiting operating agencies for the '2025 Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Vacancy Job Training' program until the 28th of this month.

Selected as part of the Overseas Koreans Foundation's public initiative, this program is being implemented for the first time this year and will provide customized vocational training opportunities for overseas Koreans who wish to settle in Korea.

The city plans to recruit approximately 30 overseas Korean trainees for two vocational training courses this year and will review potential expansion based on an evaluation of the program's outcomes.

Incheon City Conducting Intensive Safety Inspections on 690 Aging and High-Risk Facilities

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that starting today (14th) until June 13th, they will be conducting extensive intensive safety inspections on aging facilities and those with high risk of disasters and accidents throughout the city. The inspections will be carried out jointly by city departments, districts, public corporations, and sports associations, with citizen safety as the top priority.

These intensive safety inspections will focus on facilities that have been overlooked in daily life and have increased risk of disasters and accidents, as well as major facilities directly linked to public safety.

This year's intensive safety inspection targets a total of 690 facilities, including those primarily used by children, transportation facilities, elderly care facilities, public-use facilities, medical facilities, construction sites, and fishing boats. The inspections will also include facilities directly requested by citizens for inspection.

Incheon City to Implement "Large Supermarket-Local Mutual Growth Cooperation Project"

Incheon City has announced plans to fully implement a "Large Supermarket-Local Mutual Growth Cooperation Project" aimed at expanding market channels for local agricultural and livestock products and revitalizing the local economy.

As the first step in this cooperative initiative, a "Small Business-E-Mart Local Mutual Growth Direct Trading Market for Incheon Regional Agricultural Specialties" will be held for three days from May 3rd to 5th.

The city expects this event will not only increase income and open new sales channels for local farmers but also provide citizens with access to fresh and reliable local food products.

Incheon City Holds Launch Ceremony for "In (仁) Phum Family Volunteer Group"

Incheon City's Self-Support Agency, which is commissioned and operated by the city, held the "2025 In (仁) Phum Family Volunteer Group Launch Ceremony."

This event was organized as a meaningful occasion to announce the beginning of volunteer activities where youth preparing for independence and citizens can practice sharing together.

The "In (仁) Phum Family Volunteer Group" aims to facilitate natural exchange and relationship building between citizen mentors and youth preparing for independence through volunteer activities, with the goal of growing together under the common objective of "social contribution."
