Incheon to Provide Up to 7 Million for Slate Roof Removal
Incheon City announced a support project to help remove slate roofs and walls from old buildings to prevent asbestos exposure and protect public health.
This project includes the removal of slate materials from houses, warehouses, livestock barns, and other buildings. After removal, support is also available for roof improvement.
For homes, up to 7 million will be provided per building. Low-income households such as basic livelihood recipients and near-poverty groups will receive full support for removal costs.
Incheon to Increase “Good Price Stores” from 377 to 478
To stabilize local prices and support small businesses, Incheon plans to expand the number of “Good Price Stores” in the city to 478 this year.
These stores offer quality services at low prices through efficient management. Local districts select them based on price, hygiene, and other criteria set by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Selected stores receive support items, extra points when applying for business improvement programs, and promotional help. Business owners can apply by checking announcements on their district’s website.
Incheon to Host Public Data Utilization Contest
Incheon City announced that it will host the “11th Incheon Public Data Utilization Contest” to find innovative ideas and creative business models using public data.
The contest is divided into two fields: “Idea Planning” and “Product & Service Development.” Only real, working entries can be submitted for the “Product & Service” category.
Applications must be submitted through the Incheon Data Portal by June 5.
Incheon Publishes 10th Anniversary Edition of Chinese Newsletter ‘Incheon Zhichuang’
Incheon City published the spring edition (Issue 41) of its Chinese newsletter “Incheon Zhichuang,” marking its 10th anniversary.
First launched in 2015, this newsletter is published quarterly. Each issue prints 2,000 copies and features Incheon’s China-related policies and various stories about China.
The spring edition includes “10-Year History of Incheon Zhichuang,” “Incheon’s Strength: Transportation,” and “Interview with the New Chinese Ambassador to Korea.”
