Incheon City Museum Accepting Exhibition Space Applications for Second Half of 2025
The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum has announced that it will accept applications from June 26 to July 11 for the use of the Open Museum, an exhibition space located at Incheon City Hall Station on Subway Line 1.
Any individual residing in Incheon or organization based in the city is eligible to apply, and there is no rental fee.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) are in ongoing discussions to share additional costs for the Cheongna Guided Rapid Transit (GRT) system. IFEZ aims to finalize the agreement by next month. Since opening in 2018, the GRT has faced annual operating losses, exhausting most of its budget. An additional KRW 19.5 billion is needed to add seven vehicles and cover operations through 2027.
Jung-gu, Incheon to Host Job Fair on May 28
Jung-gu district will host a job fair on May 28 at Woldi Hall, with 40 companies aiming to hire 408 people through on-site interviews. Incheon Proposes Supplementary Budget Including Construction of the 3rd Incheon Bridge
Incheon has announced the proposal of its first supplementary budget for this year. The supplementary budget amounts to 1.5% more than the original budget for 2025, increasing from 14.943 trillion won to 15.1607 trillion won.
The city plans to fund the supplementary budget using 113.2 billion won from general grants and 81.5 billion won from the surplus carried over from last year’s fiscal settlement.
The proposed supplementary budget will be submitted to the Incheon City Council at its upcoming session next month.
Incheon to Provide 1,180 Jobs for Unemployed Individuals with Disabilities in 2025
Incheon will offer 1,180 job opportunities this year to unemployed individuals with disabilities aged 18 and older, promoting economic independence and social inclusion. A job fair with 26 companies will be held at City Hall on the 27th. Positions include short-hour, administrative, massage therapy, and caregiving support roles.
Incheon Ranks Second Nationwide in Compliance with Social Welfare Wage Guidelines
Incheon announced that it ranked second nationwide in compliance with wage guidelines for social welfare facility workers.
According to the “2024 Compliance Status of Local Social Welfare Facility Wage Guidelines,” released by the Ministry of Health and Welfare this past March, Incheon recorded a compliance rate of 102.9%, the second-highest in the country following Seoul, and the highest among the 16 metropolitan and provincial governments.
Incheon to Launch Pilot Operation of 4th ‘Independent Living Housing’ for Individuals with Mental Illness
Incheon will begin the pilot operation of its fourth Independent Living Housing unit this July, aimed at helping individuals with mental illness settle stably within the community and lead self-directed lives.
The Independent Living Housing initiative offers up to two years of transitional support and is jointly operated by the Incheon Housing & City Development Corporation (IH) and the Incheon Metropolitan Mental Health Welfare Center.
