Incheon City announced that it will implement the "2025 Youth Startup Special Guarantee Support Program" starting from the 28th to help resolve initial funding difficulties for young entrepreneurs and establish a stable business foundation.
This program aims to revitalize youth entrepreneurship by providing credit guarantees to young small business owners who lack collateral, thereby improving financial accessibility and mitigating business risks in the early stages of startup.
The city plans to provide support with a total budget of 12.5 billion won, offering up to 30 million won per young startup company.
Incheon City Begins Reorganization of Autonomous Regulations Ahead of Administrative System Reform in July Next Year
Incheon City and frontline autonomous districts are beginning full-scale reorganization of autonomous regulations such as ordinances and rules ahead of the launch of Jemulpo-gu, Yeongjong-gu, and Geomdan-gu in July next year.
Incheon City announced plans to reorganize approximately 1,700 autonomous regulations in Jung-gu, Dong-gu, and Seo-gu that require adjustment in relation to the administrative system reform.
Incheon's administrative system will be reorganized from July 1 next year, with the current Jung-gu and Dong-gu being restructured into Yeongjong-gu centered on Yeongjong Island and Jemulpo-gu covering the inland areas of Jung-gu and Dong-gu.
Accordingly, the current system of 2 counties and 8 districts is scheduled to be reorganized into a system of 2 counties and 9 districts.

Incheon City has urged citizens to prevent tick-borne infectious diseases during a period when outdoor activities are increasing.
According to Incheon City, a woman in her 80s who was bitten by a tick while doing farm work in Namwon, North Jeolla Province on the 15th of last month tested positive for Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (SFTS).
SFTS occurs after being bitten by hard ticks between April and November, and is accompanied by high fever and gastrointestinal symptoms.
When it progresses to severe cases, it can lead to death due to decreased platelets and white blood cells, making early detection and treatment crucial.
Incheon City Strengthens Rainy Season Preparedness with Safety Inspection of Sungin Underpass
