Art Festival Created by Books, 'Incheon Art Book Fair' Successfully Concludes This Year as Well


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the '2025 Incheon Art Book Fair (IABF)' held at Incheon Art Platform on May 24th under the theme 'BOOK WAVE, BOOK SOAR' concluded successfully with approximately 2,500 citizens participating.

The 'Incheon Art Book Fair (IABF)', now in its 6th year, received great response with 130 teams of independent publishers and independent bookstores participating, presenting diverse programs including exhibitions and sales of independent publications, reading performances, and citizen participatory workshops.

An Incheon City official said they will do their best to provide citizens with diverse joys of books and reading through even richer programs next year.







Incheon City Holds Cadastral Administration Policy Sharing Workshop


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it held the '2025 Cadastral and Cadastral Resurvey Policy Sharing Workshop' for two days from May 22nd to 23rd at Blue Ocean Residence Hotel in Yeongjong Sky City, Jung-gu.

This workshop was organized to review the current state of cadastral administration and explore future development directions, with approximately 60 public officials in charge of cadastral and cadastral resurvey from Incheon City, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, and 10 counties and districts participating.

Through this event, Incheon City shared cadastral system improvements and the latest spatial information trends, and sought to improve practical capabilities and enhance administrative efficiency through presentations of best practices.






Incheon Professional Arts Group 'Myeong Ensemble' Invitation Performance


The Incheon Metropolitan Arts Center is inviting Incheon citizens to an opening concert commemorating the reopening of its small performance hall.

On June 7th, <Myeong Ensemble - Chamber Kaleidoscope> will be presented as the first stage of the 2025 Classical Series.

'Myeong Ensemble' is a chamber music group that aims for 'classical music that approaches the public' and is composed of skilled performers who studied in Austria and Germany.

This concert is free for all seats, but advance reservations must be made on the Incheon Arts Center website, and it is open to elementary school students and above.







Incheon Youth Future Center's Isolated and Reclusive Youth Club Activities


The Incheon Youth Future Center, affiliated with the Incheon Social Service Agency, announced that isolated and reclusive youth are directly operating clubs and recovering their confidence.

The Incheon Youth Future Center supports various club activities with the goal of one club per isolated and reclusive youth, and currently operates craft clubs, neighborhood introduction clubs, and board game clubs, among others.

Those who wish to participate in various programs including the Incheon Youth Future Center's isolated and reclusive youth clubs must first complete a survey on the Youth On website (www.mohw2030.co.kr).






Incheon City to Build Large-Scale Public Parking Lot Underground Near Incheon-daero Neighborhood Park


Incheon City is working to secure public parking lots to meet the reduced parking demand in nearby areas due to the Incheon-daero conversion project.

According to Incheon City, public parking lots with a total capacity of 508 spaces will be built at three locations: Seogu's Seoknam Sports Park, Michuhol-gu's Biryong Rest Area, and Incheon Bridge Neighborhood Park, which is a bridge connecting Dohwa-dong in Michuhol-gu and Gajwa-dong in Seo-gu, all adjacent to the former Gyeongin Expressway section.

This project was promoted to convert existing roadside parking lots next to the expressway into parks and meet parking demand in surrounding areas as the former Gyeongin Expressway (Incheon-daero) Incheon section is converted to a general road.







Incheon Hosts Day-Long Education for 'Borderline Intelligence Children'... Recruiting Participating Children


The Borderline Intelligence Support Center, selected as a specialized institution for supporting borderline intelligence students by the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education for two consecutive years, is conducting education for borderline intelligence children in Incheon.

Slow learners (borderline intelligence children) refer to children who have no problems in daily life but experience learning difficulties in keeping up with their grade-level learning pace or have difficulties in social relationships with peers.

The center stated that slow learners are not disabled, and if appropriate support for slow learners is provided early, they can lead normal social lives.
