Outdoor business operations will be allowed in 16 designated planning districts in Incheon starting in July

These areas have prohibited any structures or installations, including outdoor business activities, in order to preserve the cityscape and maintain pedestrian walkways.

However, in an effort to revitalize the local economy after the COVID-19 pandemic, the city has decided to lift the ban.

Following a review by the Urban Architecture Joint Committee and an official revision of the planning zones, outdoor dining at general restaurants, cafes, and bakeries will be allowed starting in July.
