Incheon has announced an expansion of Incheon Citizen Safety Insurance program, aimed at protecting residents from various disasters and accidents.The program offers financial assistance to help citizens cope with unexpected incidents. With the latest revision, the scope of coverage has been broadened to provide more comprehensive support. The coverage limit for seven insured categories has been increased from up to 15 million KRW to 20 million KRW.

Incheon has announced the launch of its summer natural disaster response period, running through October 15, to prevent damage from seasonal storms and extreme heat.The city has inspected 74 areas at risk of landslides and steep slopes prone to casualties during the monsoon season.To prepare for extreme heat, it has set up a total of 1,345 cooling centers at senior centers and community centers, and is also operating 15 designated “safe accommodations” in cooperation with local accommodation providers.

New Public Bus Route Introduced on Yeongjong Island to Ease Long-Distance School Commutes

Bupyeong District to Host Traditional Dano Festival on June 7
The 2025 “Dano Festival in June at Bupyeong” will take place on June 7 at Museum Park in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.Hosted by Bupyeong-gu and organized by the Bupyeong Cultural Center, the event celebrates the traditional meaning of Dano, the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
