Incheon has announced the launch of the “2025 Incheon Youth Micro-Entrepreneur Design Contest” to promote local economic revitalization and build a fresh new image for local manufacturing clusters. Eligible participants include youth aged 19 to 39 who either reside in Incheon or are currently enrolled in colleges or universities located in the city.





Incheon Launches Intensive Outreach for Youth Family Caregivers


Incheon has announced that it will operate a special “Intensive Outreach Period for Youth Family Caregivers” through June 27, aiming to identify and support young people in caregiving roles who are often overlooked in the social welfare system.

Youth family caregivers are individuals aged 13 to 34 who either directly provide care for a family member due to illness, disability, or old age, or take on the responsibility of supporting their family financially.






Incheon Holds Ceremony for the 9th Elder Abuse Prevention Day


Incheon announced that it held a ceremony yesterday (June 12) at the main conference hall of Incheon City Hall to mark the 9th Elder Abuse Prevention Day. The event brought together over 130 participants, including individuals recognized for their contributions to elder abuse prevention, elder rights advocates, senior welfare facility workers, and representatives from related organizations.






Incheon Launches Fundraising Campaign to Support Heatwave-Vulnerable Groups


The “Our Incheon Hopeful Summer – Snap! Snap! Snap! Sharing Campaign” has been launched to support vulnerable groups during the summer heatwave season.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Incheon, the campaign aims to normalize fundraising efforts year-round—beyond the traditional year-end season—and to help at-risk individuals cope safely and comfortably with extreme heat and other climate-related challenges.

Participants can contribute to the campaign via ARS phone donations or by scanning the QR codes on promotional posters and leaflets.






Incheon Seobu Women's Community Center to Recruit Students for 3rd Term Social Education Programs


The Seobu Women’s Community Center in Incheon announced that it will begin accepting applications for its 3rd term social education programs starting June 19. The courses will run for 12 weeks, from July 7 to September 27, 2025, and will cover 80 classes across 8 subject areas. General registration will open on a first-come, first-served basis at 9 a.m. on June 19 through the center’s official website.

The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education hosted the “2025 Forum on Expanding Community Access to School Facilities through Communication and Empathy."

Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education Expands Support for Students with Dyslexia and Borderline Intelligence Students


The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education is expanding its support system to guarantee the right to learn for students with dyslexia and borderline intelligence students, aiming to ensure “meaningful learning and growth for all students.”

Through this initiative, 430 students received support last year, and the program aims to assist approximately 450 students this year.
