Incheon City to Operate Promotional and Public-Private Exhibition Halls During 'APEC 2025'


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will operate the Incheon City promotional hall and integrated public-private exhibition hall at Songdo Convensia until the 15th, coinciding with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Third Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM3) and related meetings.

As this year's APEC has selected "responding to demographic changes" and "artificial intelligence (AI) cooperation" as key achievements, Incheon City is actively promoting related policies and regional industries to APEC members.

Under the theme "Opening the Path to the Future," the exhibition showcases Incheon's diverse growth story, ranging from the opening of Jemulpo Port to urban policies, strategic industries, and the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ).






Incheon City Establishes 1 Billion Won Fund for Youth Startup Global Expansion


Incheon City has established a 1 billion won public-private partnership fund to support young entrepreneurs' overseas market expansion.

According to Incheon City, the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation has jointly formed the "Incheon Creative Economy-The Invention Lab Youth Global Expansion Investment Partnership" with The Invention Lab, a specialized early-stage startup investment firm, and has begun full-scale operations.

The city expects that this partnership will strengthen Incheon's startup ecosystem and lay the foundation for young startup companies' global expansion, thereby contributing to regional economic revitalization and youth job creation.






Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Operates Intensive Career and Academic Consulting During Summer Vacation


The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education conducted "one-on-one customized career and academic intensive consulting" for local middle and high school students during the summer vacation.

According to the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, 472 people, including middle and high school students and parents, participated in 236 consulting sessions held at the Gyeoldaero Career Center from the 21st of last month to the 8th.

Participating students received comprehensive analysis of their academic records, school grades, and mock exam scores through college admission experts, who provided support for career exploration and academic planning.






Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Operates '2025 Ganghwa Convergence Project'


The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it has been operating the '2025 Ganghwa Convergence Project' at Ganghwa High School and Ganghwa Culture and Arts Center since the 31st of last month.

This program is part of the Ganghwa Education Special Zone Development Project and represents the first domestic youth-targeted operation of the 'Convergence Arts Laboratory,' which was formed through collaboration between faculty who have led the interdisciplinary arts workshop IMPACT, Sookmyung Women's University, and the Metropolitan Office of Education.

About 20 local middle and high school students participated in artistic experience and creative activities combining theater, dance, music, and technology. Particularly during stage training sessions, students received specific feedback to enhance their expressiveness and sensitivity, and improved their cooperation and coordination skills by jointly composing scene transitions.

Incheon's Dong-gu District is recruiting 'Fair Price Businesses' until the 21st to promote regional price stability.

Fair Price Businesses provide high-quality services at affordable prices through efficient management and are designated after evaluation based on criteria set by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, including price, hygiene, and public interest.

The district plans to support Fair Price Businesses with necessary operational supplies and business promotion. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Incheon City are also preparing various benefits for customers who use Fair Price Businesses.





Incheon Jung-gu Cleans Up Illegal Stored Objects


Incheon's Jung-gu announced that it will fully implement the cleanup of illegal stored objects targeting on-street public parking lots in the old downtown area starting this month.

The district plans to conduct a "prior notice and guidance period" from the 11th to the 20th, then immediately collect illegal stored objects starting from the 21st.

The district will operate a stored object collection cleanup team and strengthen resident awareness activities, including posting banners in areas habitually used for illegal storage.
