Holiday Gifts Through 'Incheon Direct Purchase'... Incheon City Holds Special Chuseok Discount Event


Incheon City announced that it will host a special promotional event for its joint online platform 'Incheon Direct Purchase' to expand online sales channels for local small and medium enterprises and promote consumption of local products during the Chuseok holiday. 

This event will be conducted through both online and offline channels and was organized to revitalize the local economy through citizens' consumption of local products. 

Through this event, the city plans to support citizens in purchasing excellent local products at reasonable prices and encourage their active use as holiday gifts to promote a virtuous cycle in the local economy.







Incheon City Holds Customized Consulting for Type 1 Diabetes Patients


Incheon City is conducting customized consulting for Type 1 diabetes patients and their families.

This event was organized to strengthen self-management capabilities of patients and families and provide emotional support.

Approximately 100 patients and families are expected to participate in this consulting session, and interested citizens can participate through advance registration via QR code posted on the city website or on-site registration until the 25th.







Incheon City Completes Information Enhancement Project for Buried Heritage Areas


The buried heritage area information enhancement project promoted by Incheon City is expected to significantly shorten various development permit procedures and reduce unnecessary surface survey costs.

The city announced that it held the final report meeting for the buried heritage area information enhancement project on the 12th at the Incheon Intangible Heritage Education Center.

A city official evaluated that "by supplementing errors in existing data and recording new archaeological sites, a foundation has been established to achieve balance between buried heritage preservation and urban development."







Incheon City Recruits Students for 7th Incheon Return-to-Fishing School


The Incheon Fisheries Technology Support Center is recruiting applicants for the '7th Incheon Return-to-Fishing School' until September 26th.

The education program is planned to run for 5 weeks from October 20th to November 21st.

The curriculum consists of basic fisheries education including fisheries-related certification acquisition and fishing technology education, as well as fisherman communication, return-to-fishing case studies, and field practice education.






Incheon Dad Childcare Angels Complete 'Children's Love Festival'


Incheon City announced that the '2025 Children's Love Festival: Mission Impossible' event by the Incheon Dad Childcare Angels, jointly operated with the Korea Population and Health Welfare Association Incheon Branch, concluded successfully.

The event, held on September 13th at Incheon Grand Park's Eoul Big Yard, was organized as a special time to support fathers who actively participate in childcare and reflect on the precious meaning of family.

The Incheon Dad Childcare Angels started with 208 fathers in January 2021 and has grown into Korea's representative father childcare community with 2,230 members currently active.






Incheon Seo-gu Hosts 37th Citizens' Day Harmony Festival


Incheon Seo-gu is holding various events for citizen harmony and participation in celebration of the 37th Citizens' Day. Incheon Seo-gu will host cheerful sports competitions, walking events, and celebratory performances together with the Seo-gu Sports Association on the 20th. This event will be held at the Incheon Asiad Auxiliary Stadium under the theme 'Grand Harmony Festival for a New Future,' and all district residents can participate.






Baengnyeong-do Island's Hanui Beach and Jinchon Village Re-designated as National Ecotourism Areas


Hanui Beach and Jinchon Village on Baengnyeong-do Island in Incheon's Ongjin-gun have been re-designated with excellent results in the 'National Ecotourism Area Operation Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Environment.

According to Ongjin-gun, Baengnyeong-do Island is the largest habitat for the natural monument spotted seal and possesses internationally valuable ecological and natural resources including unique geological and landscape resources and various migratory bird sites. The achievements of ecological education programs and tour programs led by the Baengnyeong-do Island Spotted Seal Ecotourism Council, as well as the expansion of ecotourism infrastructure, were recognized.

The Baengnyeong Ecotourism Experience Center is scheduled for completion in 2026 and will feature ecological interpretation and education spaces for visitors, exhibition and experience facilities, and spaces for promoting and selling local specialties, serving as a hub for future local income generation and ecological conservation activities.
