Incheon City Prepares Comprehensive Holiday Measures


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it has prepared detailed measures across 12 areas including price stability, transportation, grave visits, and emergency medical care to ensure citizens can spend a safe and comfortable Chuseok holiday (October 3-9), and will operate a comprehensive situation room during the holiday period. Incheon City will first increase public transportation services for smooth movement and safety of those returning home for the holiday.

On Chuseok Day (October 6), when many visitors are expected at gravesites, vehicle access to Incheon Family Park will be completely restricted. 

To ensure citizens can enjoy the holiday in good health, 26 emergency medical institutions including Inha University Hospital will operate their emergency rooms 24 hours during the holiday period.

In addition, various daily convenience information will be provided, including temporary parking allowances around traditional markets, wholesale market operation information for agricultural and livestock products, and cultural arts events.






Incheon City Hosts 'Incheon Film Week 2025'


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will hold 'Incheon Film Week 2025,' a comprehensive film festival that rediscovers the identity of 'Film City Incheon' and can be enjoyed by all citizens, throughout Incheon from October 17 to 23. 

Hosted by Incheon City and organized by the Incheon Film Commission, 'Incheon Film Week 2025' will be held throughout Incheon from Friday, October 17 to Thursday, October 23, under the theme of 'Travel.' It is a comprehensive film festival that rediscovers the identity of Film City Incheon and can be enjoyed by all citizens together.

Ticket reservations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from Wednesday, October 1 through the official 'Incheon Film Week' website. Screening films and dates for each theater can be confirmed in the screening schedule on the website (www.ifwk.co.kr).






Incheon City Hosts '2nd Hambak Village Cultural Festival'


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the '2nd Hambak Village Cultural Festival' will be held on Saturday, October 4 at Rose Neighborhood Park. 

This event is being promoted according to the 2023 Koryo-in Cultural Sovereignty Declaration and Festival Support Agreement, and has established itself as a representative cultural festival that honors the migration history of Koryo-in (ethnic Koreans from the former Soviet Union) and strengthens harmony between local residents and Koryo-in compatriots. 

This year's second festival is expected to become a representative example of regional cultural revitalization and social integration, with expanded scale and programs based on previous achievements.






Incheon City Choir <Autumn, Singing of Life>


The Incheon City Choir will present a performance filled with life's resonance and hope alongside the deepening autumn atmosphere on Thursday, October 16 at 7:30 PM at the main theater of Incheon Arts & Culture Center. 

This performance has been broadly prepared, ranging from reflective stages that mirror human inner thoughts to warm comfort and emotion, as well as popular melodies that everyone can enjoy familiarly.

The "1,000 Won Culture Ticket" program, which Incheon City promotes so that more citizens can enjoy culture closely in their daily lives, can be accessed by making advance reservations on the Incheon Arts & Culture Center website and bringing proof documents to the venue on the day of the performance.






Incheon Ongjin-gun to Hold First '2025 Baengnyeong-Daecheong Treasure Festival' on 17th-18th Next Month


Incheon Ongjin-gun announced that it will hold the '2025 Baengnyeong-Daecheong Treasure Festival' for two days from the 17th to 18th of next month in the Baengnyeong-myeon and Daecheong-myeon areas. This year's first 'Incheon I-Sea Pass 2025 Baengnyeong-Daecheong Treasure Festival' is a project selected through Incheon City's 'Regional Specialized Tourism Festival Support Project' public contest. It was planned with the goal of turning the geologically valuable Baengnyeong-Daecheong Geopark attractions into tourism resources, revitalizing the local economy, and enhancing the K-Tourism Island brand.
