‘2025 Korea Business Expo Incheon,’ the Largest Export Consultation Event in Korea, Opens
The “2025 Korea Business Expo Incheon,” Korea’s largest exhibition and consultation event for export companies, opened grandly on October 28 at Songdo Convensia.
This event is held in connection with the 29th World Korean Business Convention and features more than 450 promising small and medium-sized export companies from across the country. They will engage in practical export consultations and investment cooperation with overseas buyers.
The expo operates a customized buyer-matching system for each participating company and provides interpretation support, overseas market information, and follow-up contract assistance. The entire process is systematically managed to help consultations lead to real business results.
‘1883 Incheon Jajangmyeon Festival,’ Enjoyed Together with Citizens
The “1883 Incheon Jajangmyeon Festival,” celebrating the beloved K-food Jajangmyeon that transcends generations and borders, will be held from November 1 to 2 in Incheon Chinatown and the Sangsang Platform area.
The festival will collect and exhibit personal memories and stories related to Jajangmyeon in advance, displaying them at the “Archive Hall.”
An Incheon City official said the festival will allow citizens and visitors to rediscover Incheon as a city of change and creativity and to create unforgettable memories through Jajangmyeon.
Incheon to Host ‘Manwolsan Yaksasa Temple Music Concert’ Blending Tradition and Modernity
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the “Manwolsan Yaksasa Temple Music Concert” will be held at Yaksasa Temple in Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, on Sunday, November 2, at 6 p.m.
The concert is sponsored by Incheon City, hosted by the Incheon Buddhist Association, and organized by Yaksasa Temple. As a major autumn cultural event, it aims to transform a downtown temple into a cultural stage where citizens can enjoy an open, healing festival.
The performance, under the theme “A Time for All Citizens to Share Happiness Beyond Religion,” will present a unique and touching stage combining Buddhist culture and popular music.
Incheon Promotes the Global Value of Baengnyeong and Daecheong Geoparks
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it held a three-day field visit for media from October 22 to 24 to promote the value of the Baengnyeong and Daecheong Geoparks.
The event aimed to widely publicize the outstanding natural heritage of the Baengnyeong and Daecheong Geoparks and to build public support for their designation as UNESCO Global Geoparks.
The city is working closely with the government to ensure a smooth designation process while continuously strengthening management systems and resident participation suitable for UNESCO designation.
Incheon City General Construction Headquarters Conducts 2025 Second Half Serious Accident Prevention Training
The Incheon Metropolitan City General Construction Headquarters held the “2025 Second Half Serious Accident Prevention and Safety and Health Training” with about 100 participants, including public construction project managers and on-site representatives.
The training aimed to strengthen safety responsibility and awareness following the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and to foster a voluntary safety culture at public construction sites.
Through this program, the headquarters plans to enhance safety management capacity and establish a field-centered safety and health management system through regular inspections to prevent industrial accidents.
Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Reduces Public Property Rental Fee from 5% to 1%
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will lower the public property rental fee rate from 5% to 1% to ease the burden on small business tenants.
At the 4th Public Property Deliberation Committee held on October 27, the office decided to reduce the rate and will secure the necessary budget to refund the difference to tenants through schools and institutions by December.
Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, Holds ‘Active Administration Best Practice Citizen Vote’
Incheon’s Ganghwa-gun announced that it will hold the “2025 Ganghwa-gun Active Administration Best Practice Citizen Vote” on its official website from October 27 to 31.
The event aims to increase citizens’ participation and engagement in administrative affairs and can be accessed easily through the “Active Administration Best Practice Vote” banner on the Ganghwa-gun Office website.
Out of 18 cases submitted by departments, 8 were shortlisted through the first review, and citizens will vote to select the best practices. The results will be combined with internal review scores to determine the final “Best Active Administration Cases and Outstanding Public Officials.”
