(News) IFEZ Promotes Investment Opportunities at Invest KOREA Summit 2025


Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) is participating in the Invest KOREA Summit 2025 held at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Hotel in Seoul from October 30 to 31. During the event, IFEZ will promote its investment competitiveness and conduct investor relations (IR) activities targeting potential investors including domestic and international companies.

The Invest KOREA Summit is Korea’s largest foreign investment promotion event, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by KOTRA, attracting over 2,000 participants including foreign investors, domestic and overseas companies, and local governments.

As part of the 2025 Export Boom-up Korea Week in connection with the APEC Summit, this year’s event features diverse programs such as the Invest KOREA Conference, local government IR sessions, and promotional booths.






(News) Incheon Ranks First Nationwide in Birth Rate Growth for Second Consecutive Year


Incheon once again recorded the highest growth rate in the number of newborns among Korea’s 17 metropolitan cities and provinces.

According to the city, the number of births in Incheon from January to August this year increased by 10.8% compared to the same period last year, marking the nation’s highest rate of growth.

The city attributed this to its customized support policies covering marriage, childbirth, and parenting—such as the “i-Plus 100 Million Dream” and “1,000-Won Housing” initiatives—which have helped improve public awareness and motivation toward childbirth.






(News) Incheon Announces Comprehensive Spatial Information Policy Plan for ‘AI-City’ Vision


Incheon Metropolitan City successfully held the final briefing for the Incheon Spatial Information Policy Comprehensive Plan (2026–2030) at the Incheon Art Center on October 30.

The briefing was hosted by Incheon city in conjunction with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s ‘Digital Twin National Territory Pilot Project Performance Review,’ serving as an open forum for public-private-academic collaboration, drawing participants such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, provincial and municipal officials nationwide, academic experts, private sector representatives, and students from Incheon National University.

During the briefing, the city unveiled its spatial-intelligence urban management strategy, focused on building the “Incheon-Twin” platform.





(News) Incheon City Holds Public Forum Ahead of Incheon Art Museum Opening


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it successfully held a citizen-participation public forum, as part of a preliminary project for the Incheon Art Museum, at the Cheonghak Art Hall of Cheonghak Culture Center on October 30.

The forum aimed to explore the museum’s vision and identity with citizens in preparation for its 2028 opening, bringing together more than 100 participants, including citizens, local art community members, and relevant experts, for in-depth discussions on the future direction of public art museums.

Based on the results of the 2025 preliminary project, including seminars and citizen participation programs, the city plans to begin phased implementation of the museum’s opening and content development projects starting in 2026.
