Exhibition of ‘School Safety ON Contest’ Winning Works Opens at the “Open Museum” in Incheon City Hall Station


Incheon Metropolitan City Museum announced that it will hold a special exhibition titled “School Safety ON Contest: Award-Winning Works” at the Open Museum located in Incheon City Hall Station on Incheon Subway Line 1 from November 1 to 8.

The exhibition showcases the winning entries from the “School Safety ON Contest” organized by the Incheon School Safety and Insurance Association. It aims to raise students’ awareness of safety and provide an opportunity for them to reflect on and creatively express the importance of school safety.

Unlike a typical competition-focused event, the “School Safety ON Contest” was designed as a participatory educational program that encourages students to explore the theme of school safety from various perspectives and express their ideas creatively. 






Incheon City Successfully Hosts ‘2025 Japan Buyer Invitational Export Consultation Fair’


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it successfully co-hosted the “2025 Japanese Buyers Invitational Trade Business Meeting” with the Korea International Trade Association’s Incheon Regional Office to support local small and medium-sized manufacturers in expanding into the Japanese market.

The event, held on October 30 at the Holiday Inn Incheon Songdo, invited key Japanese buyers with substantial purchasing power to conduct one-on-one customized consultations with Incheon-based export SMEs.

Participating companies from diverse sectors—including food, household goods, cosmetics, and machinery components—introduced their products and explored opportunities to expand distribution networks and strengthen export cooperation in Japan.






Incheon City Achieves Positive Results from Intensive Cruise Tourism Marketing in Shanghai, China


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that its “Joint Cruise Attraction Delegation”, organized in cooperation with the Incheon Port Authority and the Incheon Tourism Organization, successfully carried out intensive marketing activities in Shanghai, China, from October 29 to 31 to attract more cruise tourists to Incheon.

This visit was part of a strategic initiative to revitalize and expand the Korea–China cruise market following its post-pandemic reopening. The delegation held an exclusive meeting with Mr. Zinan Liu, former Asia Chairman of the Royal Caribbean Group—one of the world’s leading cruise companies—to discuss cooperation on increasing Incheon port calls and developing new cruise routes.

During the meeting, the delegation highlighted Incheon’s outstanding advantages as a cruise destination, including its proximity to the Seoul metropolitan area, abundant tourism resources, and a state-of-the-art cruise terminal equipped with the nation’s largest berthing facilities. 






(News) Incheon Launches Songdo Amusement Park Renaissance to Recreate a Future-Oriented Urban Space


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will begin full-scale block-by-block development covering approximately 2.64 million square meters of Songdo Amusement Park area into a future-oriented urban space, based on the Songdo Amusement Park Renaissance Comprehensive Plan unveiled last December and the revised 2024 Incheon Urban Basic Plan.

The comprehensive plan adopts a holistic urban-planning development approach across eight blocks, aiming to transform Songdo Amusement Park into a global complex cultural hub city, expand citizen leisure spaces and eco-friendly residential areas to revive the park’s history and memories, and supplement the functions of the old city to strengthen the role of Songdo International City.

A city official stated, “We will strengthen urban competitiveness and expand green and cultural spaces to further improve citizens’ quality of life.”





(News) Incheon Hosts Successful ‘Drone & Cadastral Learning’ Event


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it successfully held the ‘Drone Shooting GO! Cadastral Learning GO!’ event on October 29 at the Skylark Drone Experience Center in Gilsang-myeon, Ganghwa-gun.

The event was designed to strengthen the administrative capacity of cadastral officials and improve drone utilization skills. Notably, it featured the drone video evaluation contest, the first of its kind in the metropolitan city to involve public officials and related organizations, receiving a highly positive response.

A total of 101 participants (13 teams) took part, including officials from city, county, and district offices as well as representatives from the military, police, fire departments, private companies, and universities, making it a venue for inter-agency cooperation and exchange.
