Incheon City Implements Special Transportation Measures for 2026 CSAT on November 13
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will implement special transportation measures on November 13 to ensure that students taking the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), or Suneung, can arrive safely and smoothly at their test centers.
This year, a total of 30,143 students are registered to take the CSAT in Incheon. The city expects increased traffic on the day of the exam as students, parents, and exam supervisors travel to test sites.
To accommodate the surge, the city will increase bus frequency between 6:00 AM and 8:10 AM, the main commute hours before the test. Buses passing by test centers will display signs reading “CSAT Center Route” on the front windshield to help students easily identify their routes.
Incheon City Successfully Hosts Bio Startup IR Demo Day in Singapore
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it successfully hosted a K-Startup IR Demo Day in Singapore as part of its Bio Cluster Development Support Program.
The event aimed to help Incheon-based bio startups expand overseas and attract global investment, providing a venue for active networking between promising bio startups and major venture capital (VC) firms in Singapore.
The Bio Cluster Development Support Program has been underway since 2022 to revitalize bio entrepreneurship in Incheon and to identify and nurture outstanding bio startups with global growth potential.
Incheon Launches “Happy to Be an Incheon Citizen” Campaign
Incheon Metropolitan City announced the launch of its “Happy to Be an Incheon Citizen” campaign, first introduced at the 61st Incheon Citizens’ Day ceremony on October 11. A special feature on the campaign appears in the November issue of Good Morning Incheon, and it will continue in December with book publication and a photo exhibition.
A total of 61 citizens—including homemakers, office workers, retirees, and foreign residents—took part in the campaign.
The Good Morning Incheon November issue presents a six-page feature under the theme “I’m Happy to Be an Incheon Citizen,” showcasing participants’ portraits, handwritten messages, and interviews to deliver a visually compelling story about civic pride.
Incheon Metropolitan Theatre Celebrates 35th Anniversary with Don’t Cry, Hongdo
To mark both the 35th anniversary of its founding and the reopening of the Incheon Culture & Arts Center, the Incheon City Theatre will present the classic melodrama Don’t Cry, Hongdo.
The production will run from November 29 to December 7 at the Small Theater of the Incheon Culture & Arts Center. Combining rich visuals with emotional storytelling, the performance promises to deliver a moving and accessible theatrical experience for audiences.

“Dangdang Library” Opens November 8 in Incheon’s Open Port Area
Incheon City will present a heartwarming reading festival where citizens can enjoy time with their pets.
Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced that the “Open Port Dangdang Library” will take place from 1 PM to 6 PM on November 8 at Sangsang Platform and the 1883 Open Port Plaza.
The festival is designed as a healing-style cultural event where citizens and their pets can read, communicate, and enjoy the autumn atmosphere together — going beyond a simple pet event to create a warm and inviting space where people, pets, and books come together.
Incheon’s Ongjin-gun Opens “Soyarang” Cultural Center
The Ongjin-gun Office announced that it held an opening ceremony for the new community cultural center Soyarang on Soya-do in Deokjeok-myeon on November 4.
The facility was created by repurposing the former Soya-do Branch School, which had been closed for years.
Ongjin-gun plans to use Soyarang not only as a tourism facility but also as a space for youth recreation, family cultural activities, and artistic creation.
