13 Incheon Innovative Companies Win 16 “CES 2026 Innovation Awards”
The Incheon Free Economic Zone announced that 13 innovative companies based in Incheon have received a total of 16 CES Innovation Awards ahead of the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, “CES 2026.”
The CES Innovation Awards are presented annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, prior to the event’s opening. The awards recognize products and technologies based on comprehensive evaluations of their design, innovation, and consumer value.
In this year’s results, Incheon-based companies were honored across various categories, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Health, and Smart City technologies.
Incheon Culture and Arts Center Offers “Half-Price Performances” for Students Who Completed the CSAT
The Incheon Culture and Arts Center has prepared a special year-end discount event for high school seniors who have finished the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
Students presenting either their test admission ticket or an early admission certificate can enjoy performances held from mid-November to December at a 50% discounted rate.
To receive the discount, reservations must be made through the Incheon Culture and Arts Center’s website or by phone under the “CSAT Student Discount” option, and students must bring their test ticket or admission certificate on the day of the performance.
Incheon City Donates 200kg of Rice Harvested from Yeonhui Park
The Incheon Metropolitan City Gyeyang Park Management Office announced that it has donated 200 kilograms of rice, cultivated and harvested directly from the paddy wetland in Yeonhui Park, to the Incheon Social Welfare Council.
Since 2017, the office has grown rice in Yeonhui Park’s wetland paddies each year and donated the harvest to local underprivileged groups, including children in need.
Through this donation activity, the city aims to strengthen community cooperation and expand the park’s ecological value into a model of community restoration and social sharing.
Songam Museum of Art to Host “Exciting! The Pattern Collector’s Secret Notebook” Education Program
The Songam Museum of Art in Incheon announced that it will hold an educational art experience program titled “Exciting! The Pattern Collector’s Secret Notebook” for 3rd to 5th-grade elementary students on November 22.
The program combines exhibition viewing, workbook activities, and hands-on experiences centered on traditional patterns found in ceramics and folk paintings, helping children better understand traditional art in a fun and engaging way.
The program will be held twice, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with a capacity of 25 students per session.
Incheon Office of Education Successfully Concludes Elementary Coding Program “Chocolet”
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced the completion of “Chocolet – Elementary Coding Let’s Go,” a career experience program in new industries.
The program, organized by the Incheon Career Education Center, ran from May 15 to November 11, involving about 2,100 sixth-grade students from 22 elementary schools.
It focused on helping students explore and design future careers by linking new technologies such as AI and data learning with the local characteristics of Smart City Incheon, offering practice-based lessons connected to the regular curriculum.
Ganghwa-gun Launches “Sunset Stamp Tour”
Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, announced that it is operating the “Ganghwa Sunset Stamp Tour” through November to celebrate the autumn tourism season.
The mobile stamp tour features four major sunset viewing spots in Ganghwa Island, Janghwari Sunset Viewpoint, Hupo Port, Buno Redoubt, and Dongmak Beach, where participants can earn stamps through GPS-based verification by visiting each site using the “Stamp Tour” mobile app.

Ganghwa-gun to Hold “Incheon History Academic Conference” on the Goryeo Capital Period
Ganghwa-gun, in collaboration with Incheon City and the Korean Society for Medieval History, announced it will hold the “Incheon History Academic Conference” on November 21 at the Incheon Culture & Arts Center under the theme “Goryeo During the Gangdo Period and East Asia.”
According to the county, the conference will focus on the 39-year “Gangdo Period” (1232–1270), examining the relationship between Goryeo and other East Asian countries, and academically supporting the ongoing project to establish the National Ganghwa Goryeo Museum.
In the final panel discussion, former National Museum of Korea Director Kim Jae Hong will chair a session featuring academic experts discussing the historical significance of Goryeo’s Gangdo era in depth.
Incheon Jung-gu Designates Honorary Road “Incheon Firefighting Road” to Commemorate Fire Service History
Incheon’s Jung-gu announced that it has designated an honorary road named “Incheon Firefighting Road” to commemorate the historical value of Incheon’s fire service.
An “honorary road name” is a symbolic title additionally given to a road section to recognize individuals, organizations, or institutions for their social contributions and public service.
The designated section, totaling 633 meters, spans Jayu Park-ro and Songhak-ro.
