Incheon City Provides Tailored Consumer Education for Island Residents


Incheon Metropolitan City is offering specialized services for residents in island areas who face difficulties accessing consumer education and information due to geographic constraints.

Today, the city is operating itsMobile Consumer Life Center for Island Areasand visiting Jangbong Island to help protect the consumer rights of local residents.

This program provides customized education and counseling by visiting island communities twice a year. In the first half of the year, sessions were held at Yeonpyeong Elementary School and local senior centers.

Residents also received detailed information on the recent surge in consumer fraud cases and effective prevention methods, along with related promotional materials.






Incheon Strengthens Support for Healthy Grieving Ahead of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will enhance tailored support to help families who have lost loved ones to suicide cope with their grief and return to daily life, ahead ofInternational Survivors of Suicide Loss Dayon November 22.

Established in 1999, the day aims to raise social awareness and support for those who have experienced loss due to suicide. It is observed annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and Korea has officially commemorated it since 2017.

To ease the psychological, economic, and administrative challenges faced by survivors, Incheon has operated theOne-Stop Service Support Project for Suicide Survivorssince 2019.






Young Entrepreneurs Driving Incheon’s Future Share Achievements at the Youth Startup Challenge


Incheon Metropolitan City, together with the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, successfully hosted the achievement-sharing event for companies participating in the2025 Youth Startup Challenge Support Programyesterday (the 20th) at Songdo Convensia.

The event featured an in-depth review of the participants’ business performance, and three companies with outstanding results were recognized with awards.

A city official noted that Incheon will continue to discover and actively support promising young entrepreneurs in the region.






The Future of the K-UAM Industry Unfolds in Incheon


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the opening ceremony of the 5thK-UAM Confex, held yesterday (the 20th) at Songdo Convensia, attracted strong interest from domestic and international experts and industry leaders in urban air mobility (UAM).

Marking its fifth year, the K-UAM Confex is the largest professional conference in Korea dedicated to the UAM sector, offering a comprehensive look at technology, policy, infrastructure, and service models—all in one place.

Participants highlighted Incheon’s strengths as an ideal testbed for future mobility, noting its aviation and logistics infrastructure and its competitiveness as a global hub city. They also agreed on the need to expand international cooperation in the UAM industry.






Ganghwa-gun expands nationwide sales channels through home shopping


Incheon’s Ganghwa-gun has launched a home shopping campaign running through December to expand nationwide sales channels for local agricultural products.

Aimed at boosting farm income and brand competitiveness, the broadcasts will feature local specialties like Ganghwa turnips, rice, and ginseng during prime time slots to reach a wider audience.






Korea Transportation Safety Authority signs agreement for safe cargo truck operations


The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) signed an MOU with the Incheon Port Authority and Local Cargo Truckers Solidarity Union to create a safer logistics environment at Incheon Port. Under this agreement, the organizations will cooperate to improve driving conditions for cargo trucks and ensure safety in workyards and terminals. A TS official stated that they remain committed to securing traffic safety through continuous cooperation with relevant agencies.
