인천세관은 이곳에 신청사를 건립하기 위해 기본설계까지 진행했으나, 인천경제청의 요청에 따라 신청사가 들어설 곳을 송도 5·7공구로 옮기기로 한 것으로 파악됐습니다.
인천경제청은 해당 용지를 포기하는 대가로 인하대의 송도캠퍼스 건립을 다른 방식으로 지원하는 대안을 검토 중인 것으로 알려졌습니다.
“Land Is Running Out” – Incheon Pushes Plan to Reallocate Plots in Songdo for Bio Companies
As land for new bio companies has become insufficient in the Bio Specialized Zone of Incheon’s Songdo International City, a plan is being considered to reallocate land originally reserved for incoming institutions to bio firms.
According to the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZA), the Incheon Main Customs Office has agreed to yield its planned 32,000㎡ site in Songdo District 11 to bio companies.
The Customs Office had already completed basic design work for a new office building on that site, but has decided to relocate to Songdo Districts 5 and 7 at IFEZA’s request.
IFEZA is reportedly reviewing alternative support measures for Inha University’s Songdo Campus project in return for giving up the land.

Yeonsu-gu reduced food waste generation to 28,725 tons, a 19.95% decrease from the target volume of 35,884 tons set last year, and was recognized for its strong policy execution and systematic management capabilities.
The district previously became the first in Incheon to widely distribute food waste RFID meters in apartment complexes in 2012 and has been replacing outdated equipment since 2022.
