A delegation from the Incheon Metropolitan Council visited the Bangkok Metropolitan Council from December 20 to 25, strengthening ties and advancing inter-council cooperation.

The visit marked a step toward full-scale exchange at the local assembly level and helped further enhance friendly and cooperative relations between the two councils.

The trip followed an official invitation extended in August by the chair of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council, building on an ongoing exchange relationship that began after the two councils signed a friendship and cooperation agreement in 2007.

During the visit, the Incheon Metropolitan Council delegation met with members of the Korean community residing in Bangkok to hear about their situation and discussed possible areas of cooperation at the council level.
