The ministry conducts annual evaluations of the operational status and management performance of non-tax revenues across 243 local governments nationwide to promote efficient revenue administration.
Incheon was named the best-performing metropolitan government in its category and will receive an institutional commendation.

At the donation ceremony, funds were distributed to selected beneficiaries—including single-parent households, multicultural families, and youth transitioning from foster care —based on recommendations from related organizations. Awards were also presented to individuals recognized for their contributions to the market’s operation, further highlighting the spirit of community sharing.
(News) Incheon Institute of Health and Environment Achieves Nation’s First Standardization of Ultra-Fine Dust Measurement
The Incheon Institute of Health and Environment announced that it has become the first in the nation to successfully standardize measurement technology for ultra-fine particulate matter (PM-1.0) and will expand the operation of a high-precision monitoring network.
According to the institute, this marks Korea’s first standardized analytical system in the PM-1.0 field, where measurement uncertainty had previously been high due to the absence of official testing standards.
The institute established and validated a measurement method by applying a dual verification system, collecting ultrafine particle samples through two approaches and confirming particle uniformity using scanning electron microscopy. The findings will be used to support the development of national standards and related policy recommendations.
(News) Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra to Recruit Planning and Operations Staff
The Incheon Culture & Arts Center announced that it will hold an open recruitment for planning and operations staff to ensure the stable operation of the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra and the newly established Incheon Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, set to launch next year.
The recruitment aims to select professional personnel responsible for overall orchestra operations, including concert planning, promotion, and the management of scores and instruments. A total of four positions will be filled.
The openings include one score librarian for the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, and one planning and public relations officer, one score librarian, and one instrument manager for the Incheon Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
(News) Incheon Office of Education Expands Support for Students with Rare and Incurable Diseases
The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education announced that it has implemented the 2025 Medical Expense Support Program to help students with rare and incurable diseases continue their education during long-term treatment.
This year, approximately 35 million won was provided to 54 students, with support tailored to each student’s individual treatment circumstances to ensure meaningful assistance.
The program has been in place since 2022 to prevent treatment disruptions or difficulties in school life caused by financial hardship. The office plans to continue the program next year by securing the necessary budget.
