Gachon University Gil Medical Center says it has established the nation’s first Critical Emergency Center to strengthen the response system for emergency patients in critical condition. The new center will maintain the operational structure of government-designated specialty medical centers while integrating emergency command and coordination. It will bring together management of emergency medical fields such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular emergencies, severe trauma, high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, and pediatric emergencies under a single hospital unit system.
