김장훈은 위촉 다음날에는 독도에서 해양경찰 음악회에 출연할 예정이었지만 기상악화로 행사가 무산돼 독도행은 성사되지 않았습니다.
그러나 앞으로도 동해와 독도 해양주권 수호, 해양안전 문화 확산 등 다양한 홍보활동에 참여하며 국민과 소통을 이어갈 예정입니다.

Public interest in honorary Coast Guard officers has grown after singer Kim Jang-hoon was appointed as a public relations ambassador for the East Regional Coast Guard Headquarters.
Along with the appointment, the singer has been awarded the honorary rank of superintendent (Gyeongjeong).
According to the Korea Coast Guard, Kim was appointed as an honorary Coast Guard officer on July 21 in recognition of his long-standing advocacy for Dokdo and his contributions to the public good.
He had been scheduled to perform at a Coast Guard concert on Dokdo the following day, but the event was canceled due to bad weather, preventing his visit to the island.
Kim will continue to take part in promotional activities related to protecting maritime sovereignty over the East Sea and Dokdo, as well as promoting a culture of maritime safety.

난민 신청과 행정소송 규모에 비해 인천출입국·외국인청의 전담 실무 인력이 턱없이 부족한 것으로 나타났습니다.

그러나 이처럼 매년 수백 건의 소송을 맡을 인천출입국·외국인청 내 공익법무관은 현재 1명에 불과합니다.
이처럼 인력 대비 업무 부담이 커지면서 난민 소송 대응에 차질이 빚어질 수 있다는 우려가 나옵니다.

The Incheon Immigration Office is facing a severe shortage of legal staff despite a growing number of refugee applications and administrative lawsuits.
According to Ministry of Justice statistics, the Incheon Immigration Office had handled a cumulative 19,617 refugee applications as of last year.
As refugee applications continue to increase, so has the number of administrative lawsuits filed by applicants challenging the results of their asylum reviews.
Despite handling hundreds of lawsuits each year, the office currently has only one public service lawyer assigned to manage these cases.
The growing workload has raised concerns that the office may struggle to respond effectively to refugee-related litigation.

Incheon Metropolitan City has taken another step toward becoming a global hub for environmental and climate technology (ECT) in response to the climate crisis.
The city announced that the proposed Seohae Geomdan Innopolis has been selected for Phase 2 support in a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Beginning in 2027, the city will carry out a five-year specialized development project.
With the designation, the project has secured 10 billion won in central government funding, providing a solid financial foundation for the initiative.
A city official said the second-phase project will further strengthen Incheon's environment-focused innovation ecosystem and help promising local companies expand from the domestic market to the global stage.

식품의약품안전처 ‘식품안전나라' 통계에 따르면 올해 5월까지 전국 식중독 발생 건수는 총 361건으로, 지난해 같은 기간 대비 3배 이상 증가한 것으로 나타나 각별한 주의가 요구됩니다.
식중독 예방을 위해서는 조리 전·후와 식사 전에는 흐르는 물에 30초 이상 손을 씻고, 생고기와 채소·과일은 도마와 칼을 구분해 사용하는 것이 중요합니다.
또한 육류와 달걀 등은 충분히 익혀 먹고, 물은 끓여 마시는 것이 좋습니다.
(뉴스용)Incheon urges food poisoning precautions for a healthy summer
The Incheon Metropolitan City Institute of Health and Environment is urging residents to follow food safety guidelines due to increased risk of food poisoning during the hot and humid summer season.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's Food Safety Korea portal, 361 cases of food poisoning had been reported nationwide by the end of May this year.
The figure is more than three times the number recorded during the same period last year.
Officials advise people to wash their hands with running water for at least 30 seconds before and after preparing food and before meals, and to use separate cutting boards and knives for raw meat and fruits and vegetables.
They also recommend thoroughly cooking meat and eggs and drinking boiled water whenever possible.
