Performance facilities facing major changes

Incheon Culture & Arts Center opened in 1994, and Arts Center Incheon (Phase 1) opened in 2018. They have established themselves as Incheon's representative culture and arts channels. The two spaces, which used to liven up the daily lives of citizens with numerous exhibitions, performances, and programs, are now given new looks to provide more comfortable facilities.

Arts Center Incheon

Since the opening of the concert hall in 2018, Arts Center Incheon has established itself as a complex global cultural space where you can enjoy cool sea views and high-quality performances. With a positive response to the Arts Center Incheon's world-class sound and facilities, the second phase of construction will commence this year. It includes the opening of the four-stage 'Opera House' and the 'Arc & Tech Center,' which will present creative content connecting numerous sectors such as art, daily life, and science, as well as more diverse cultural and art programs.

Safer and more comfortable

Incheon Culture & Arts Center

After 30 years of providing culture and arts across numerous genres, including municipal art troupes, symphony orchestras, and dance troupes, as well as musicals, performances in Korea, and art exhibitions, the Incheon Culture and Arts Center is undergoing remodeling. Due to the aging of stage facilities and architectural facilities, this aims to provide more comfort for workers, artists, and citizens. Remodeling will begin in July and be finished and reopened in stages beginning in 2024, including the municipal art group's practice hall and minor performance rooms.
