Museum to open in Geomdan New Town Park; neolithic through Joseon Dynasty residence sites and relics excavated The Geomdan New Town Museum (tentative), which is planned to be built within Geomdan New Town passed the feasibility study for public museums by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Incheon passed the three rounds of the feasibility study by the Ministry, composed of the documentary review in August, site visit on September 3rd, in-person presentation in front of the review board, and QA on October 29th. The museum will be built twice as large as the current Municipal Museum or five times the existing Geomdan Prehistoric Museum.The construction project will be carried out by LH and iH, as a joint project between the two.
