Incheon Takes a Leap Forward as a Hub City for the Metaverse
The City to Promote Specialist Companies and Form/Launch a Meta Governance Program in the Second Half of This Year The Incheon hosted the 2nd round of the forum for the formation of the private and public cooperation system (OMG*) with the key metaverse companies of South Korea and other countries at the HQ of Deloitte Anjin Accounting Firm, Yeoui-do, on the 17th jointly with Incheon International Airport Cooperation. The event was hosted under the theme of “MetaWays, Incheon Stands Tall at the Center of the Metaverse,” with a view to seeking ways to secure the platform competitiveness and form a collaborative ecosystem, along with the development of the Metaverse industry. This is the second round of the forum in which foreign companies, like MS or AWS, would also participate, after the first round held with nineteen South Korean companies only, such as Naver Cloud and NHN Cloud,etc., on May 24th. It is the best time to try Incheon City Tour, which allows you to enjoy the city’s past, future, downtown, beach, daytime, and nighttime. The City of Incheon and Incheon Tourism Organization launched the Sunset and Night View Tour, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful sunset and night view, starting on April 29. With this marking the beginning, the entirety of the seven routes of Incheon City Tours is now back in operation. As things are going back to normal, it is expected that these services will serve the various needs of tourists. ▲ Incheon City Tour Bus The Sunset and Night View Tour runs every Friday and Saturday until October 29. This splendid double-decker bus will depart at sunset and cross Incheon Bridge to take you to Wangsan marina, where you can enjoy the breathtaking crimson sunset sky before it returns. The Sunset and Night View Tour is closed during winter. Incheon City Tour includes other routes than the Sunset and Night View Tour, as well. There was the Incheon Retro route, where the bus circulates over a certain course, and the passengers can get off and get back on at any stop they like, and the sea route. The Incheon Retro Route is an extension of the previous Open Port route toward the old downtown area, expanding and diversifying the tourism areas to include Sinpo International Marketplace, Sudoguksan Museum of Housing Living, Hwapyeongdong Cold Noodle Alley, etc. The traditionally popular Sea Route, which circulates between Songdo International City and Yongjong-do, continues its operation, as well. Songdo to Introduce ‘Songdo Tram,’ an Environmentally-Friendly Transit System

Incheon to ‘nurture’ the future space industry beyond the aviation industry
Selected for the ‘Future Space Education Center’ project in the aerospace sector Incheon City, which leads the aviation maintenance business (MRO), will also play a leading role in the space industry.
