TV personality and announcer Shin A-young will host <Shin A-young's Enjoy Weekend>, a new 100% English radio program by Kyung-in Broadcasting.
<Enjoy Weekend> aims to help foreigners living in Incheon, a city where English is widely used, to settle in the community by providing various lifestyle information and introducing diverse music from around the world.
<Enjoy Weekend> airs every Saturday at 7 AM on 90.7MHz Kyung-in Broadcasting Radio and through the application
Shin A-young expressed, "I hope this program can alleviate some of the loneliness of living abroad and make foreigners remember Korea as warm as their hometowns."
1,000 Foreign Participants Attend 'International Competition' in Incheon
Incheon City is hosting the 'International Competition' with 1,000 foreign participants.
The city will hold the competition twice, from the 14th to the 16th and from the 23rd to the 27th. After the competition, participants will be introduced to major tourist attractions in Incheon.
The competition will be held simultaneously at the Art Center Incheon in Songdo International City, Incheon National University, and Incheon Global Campus, with 500 Korean participants also expected to join.
Incheon City Designates and Manages 57 Handover Points for the ‘Flying Emergency Room’ Doctor Helicopters
Incheon Metropolitan City is designating and managing 57 handover points for ‘Doctor Helicopters’ to ensure the rapid transport of emergency patients.
These helicopters, often referred to as ‘flying emergency rooms,’ are equipped with specialized medical equipment necessary for emergency care. They are staffed by emergency medicine specialists and nurses, enabling them to provide medical treatment during transport. The service operates 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset.
The handover points are designated locations for the takeoff and landing of Doctor Helicopters. In total, Incheon has 57 designated and managed handover points.
Incheon City Office of Education Launches Special Period for Strengthening Student Life Education Ahead of Summer Vacation
The Incheon City Office of Education announced that it has established and informed schools of the "2024 Summer Vacation Student Life Education Enhancement Plan" to support a safe summer for students, preventing delinquency and exposure to crime after the first-semester final exams until the end of the summer vacation.
This plan includes the development of guidance plans at the school level, thorough student life education, and the establishment of cooperative systems with families and related organizations to strengthen student life education.
An official from the Incheon City Office of Education stated, "To prevent student crime and delinquency and to prevent school violence, we will closely cooperate with families, schools, and related organizations to strengthen joint responses to at-risk students and help them grow properly."
