Incheon Port Coastal Passenger Ferry Offers Real-Time Ship Information
Incheon Port Authority (IPA) announced that, starting from yesterday (July 30), real-time ship information for coastal passenger ferries connecting Incheon Port with islands in the West Sea, such as Baengnyeongdo and Yeonpyeongdo, is now available.
Passengers using the coastal ferries can check real-time departure and arrival times, reflecting current weather conditions, by visiting the Incheon Port passenger terminal website via their smartphones or PCs.
IPA anticipates that as the service becomes more widely used, it will reduce congestion in waiting areas and parking lots at the terminal.
An IPA official stated, "We introduced the real-time service to minimize passenger inconvenience due to frequent changes in ferry schedules caused by weather anomalies. We are committed to doing our best to enhance the convenience of ferry travel for our passengers."
