7th Annual Island Village Band Music Festival on Daeijakdo Island
The ‘Island Village Band Music Festival’ returns for its 7th year on the 28th, hosted by Incheon City Ongjin Gun and Gyeongin Broadcasting at the Marine Ecology Museum on Daeijak Island.
This event will feature performances by music clubs from Daeijak island, Sinsimo isalnd, Yeongheung island, and Baengnyeong isalnd, providing a delightful musical experience amidst the island’s scenic backdrop.
Organizers hope the festival will promote Daeijakdo’s natural beauty and serve as a platform for cultural exchange.

Wolmi Isalnd Sea Train Embarks on a New Journey
Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Transit Corporation have taken the first steps to improve and revitalize the Wolmi Island Sea Train.
As of August, fares have been increased to 11,000 KRW on weekdays and 14,000 won on weekends for adults, while Incheon citizens continue to pay the previous fare of 8,000 won.
An Incheon city official mentioned efforts to provide discounts at Wolmi isalnd shops for train users and emphasized their commitment to ongoing management improvements and regional development.
