Incheon City Achieves Above-Average Performance in Welfare Services Nationwide

Incheon City has shown performance exceeding the national average in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "2023 Outreach Health and Welfare Services" implementation results.

In 2023, Incheon City's average performance in connecting and providing public-private welfare services was 1,639 cases per town/township/district, which is 18% higher than the national average of 1,384 cases.

This achievement is the result of Incheon City's systematic operation of a human safety net of about 12,000 people, including honorary social welfare officials, community social security councils, and citizen support groups. Through these efforts, the city has been able to identify and actively support neighbors in need at an early stage.
