Inha-ro to Juan Industrial Complex Overpass’ Section to Start Construction This Month … Completion Expected in 2027
Incheon Metropolitan City has announced that the ‘Incheon-daero roadworks’ for the 3 km section from Inha-ro to the Juan Industrial Complex Overpass will officially start construction at the end of October this year, beginning with the removal of the central barrier.
This project aims to remove the retaining walls and sound barriers that have divided the city for the past 50 years, and to create parks, green spaces, and leisure areas in the central part of the road.
This will improve the living conditions of the surrounding areas and promote the regeneration and development of Incheon’s old downtown.
The total length under the roadworks is 10.45km, and the entire section up to the West Incheon Interchange is targeted for completion by 2030.
