Incheon Implements Major Ferry Fare Discounts for Citizens
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that starting next year, citizens can travel to islands like Baengnyeong, Daecheong, Yeonpyeong, and Deokjeok Islands at city bus fare prices.
The Incheon I-Sea Pass policy will reduce coastal ferry fares to 3,000 won for a round trip.
This new policy will cover 16 ferries on 14 routes linking Incheon’s mainland with its islands, except for the Incheon-Pungdo route.
Furthermore, the city plans to extend public transportation fare support for couples with newborns.
Incheon City to Document Art History
Incheon Metropolitan City announced yesterday that a meeting was held to commence the "Incheon Art History Research Project" at the City Hall conference room.
This research will serve as crucial data for the collection and exhibition planning in the lead-up to the opening of the municipal museum of art. The project will also create an archive of regional art history publications to promote discourse and enhance the influence of Incheon art.
An official from Incheon City commented, "This project will help us organize the region's art history and maximize the value of collecting and planning exhibitions of historically significant pieces.”
Incheon City Launches Urban Renewal Citizen Academy for Second Half of 2024
Incheon City revealed plans to operate the “2024 Second Half Urban Renewal Citizen Academy” at the Incheon Campus of Cheongwoon University from November 5 to 22.
The academy is designed to improve citizens' understanding of the fast-changing urban renewal sector, prevent conflicts that may arise during project implementation, and strengthen association capabilities for smoother project progression.
It will focus on major urban renewal issues, helping citizens resolve any challenges or queries during the process.
Tourism and Aviation Job Fair to be Held in Incheon
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the "Tourism Job Fair" will take place on October 29 at the Central Hall of Incheon City Hall and Incheon Aetdeul.
This event is the seventh edition of the "Incheon Permanent Job Fair," which is held on the last Tuesday of each month. It is jointly organized by Incheon Metropolitan City, the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office, Incheon Technopark, and the Incheon Tourism Organization.
Job seekers who wish to participate can pre-register through the official event website or bring their resume, ID, cover letter, and copies of certificates to the event on the day.
