Incheon City Implements Road Snow Removal Measures
The Incheon Metropolitan City announced it will implement road snow removal measures in preparation for heavy snowfall and cold waves this winter. The city has designated the period from December 15 to March 15 next year as the snow removal response period, during which relevant agencies will be responsible for snow removal operations in their assigned road sections.
When snowfall is forecasted, deicing agents will be spread on roads in advance according to established criteria. In case of heavy snowfall, the city will promptly carry out snow removal operations considering factors such as temperature and snow accumulation levels.
An Incheon City official stated, "When snow is forecasted, we will proactively secure road safety to minimize traffic inconvenience for citizens."

Incheon Metropolitan City, in collaboration with the Incheon Environmental Corporation, is hosting a 'Slogan Contest for Eco-friendly Resource Circulation Center' and a 'Student Debate Competition on Resource Circulation Practice.'
These events are part of a public outreach and communication initiative for the city's ongoing policy to expand resource circulation centers in cooperation with districts and counties.
The initiative aims to improve public misconceptions and negative images about resource circulation centers through citizens' creative ideas, which will then be developed and incorporated into policy.
An Incheon City official stated, "We expect these events to serve as a valuable opportunity to widely promote the necessity of resource circulation centers to citizens in an approachable way and to gather ideas for our future vision."
High School Seniors from Incheon's Five West Sea Islands Prepare for College Entrance Exam at City Hotels
College entrance exam candidates from island villages including Baengnyeongdo and Daecheongdo in Incheon's Ongjin-gun have collectively moved to the mainland for their final preparations ahead of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on November 14.
According to the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and Ongjin-gun, 35 test-takers from four high schools on the northern West Sea islands - Baengnyeongdo, Daecheongdo, Yeonpyeongdo, and Deokjeokdo - have come to the mainland to take the college entrance exam.
To prepare for potential disruptions in ferry services due to sudden weather changes, these island students typically leave their homes 4-6 days before the CSAT, staying with relatives in Incheon or in motels while preparing for the exam.
An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "Related organizations are working together to ensure students from island regions can take the exam without any inconvenience."
Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Seo-gu Library Offers 'Goodbye Grade 3' Program for Post-CSAT Teens
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Seo-gu Library (Director Park Jung-hee) will operate the 'Goodbye Grade 3' program for third-year middle and high school students in the district starting November 25.
'Goodbye Grade 3' consists of two courses: 'I'm a K-POP Idol!' where students can learn the latest K-POP dance choreography, and 'Drawing Webtoons About Me' where participants can design their own characters and create four-panel comics about their daily lives.
Applications for the program will be accepted until November 18, with plans to accommodate approximately nine classes. For more details, interested parties can visit the Seo-gu Library website or contact the Reading Culture Department.
