High School Seniors from Incheon's Five West Sea Islands Prepare for College Entrance Exam at City Hotels

College entrance exam candidates from island villages including Baengnyeongdo and Daecheongdo in Incheon's Ongjin-gun have collectively moved to the mainland for their final preparations ahead of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on November 14.

According to the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and Ongjin-gun, 35 test-takers from four high schools on the northern West Sea islands - Baengnyeongdo, Daecheongdo, Yeonpyeongdo, and Deokjeokdo - have come to the mainland to take the college entrance exam.

To prepare for potential disruptions in ferry services due to sudden weather changes, these island students typically leave their homes 4-6 days before the CSAT, staying with relatives in Incheon or in motels while preparing for the exam.

An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "Related organizations are working together to ensure students from island regions can take the exam without any inconvenience."
