7 Foreign Schools Apply for Yeongjong International School in Incheon


Seven foreign schools have applied to establish an international school in Yeongjong International City, Incheon.

IFEZ announced that seven foreign school foundations from the U.S., U.K., and Canada submitted proposals.

Unlike previous cases handled through private contracts, this selection process will be based on an international public competition and expert evaluations.

IFEZ plans to evaluate proposals in March and April, select a preferred bidder, and finalize the agreement within this year.





Incheon Expects ₩90 Billion in Sales Growth from Semiconductor R&D Support


Incheon City announced significant achievements from last year’s semiconductor research and development support program.

The city invested ₩2.4 billion in local funds and ₩2 billion in national funds to collaborate with the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Incheon Technopark, and Inha University. The projects focused on strengthening partnerships between large and small semiconductor companies and improving the competitiveness of the post-processing industry.

Companies that participated in the program hired 175 new employees and are expected to see ₩90 billion in increased sales this year.







Incheon Environmental Corporation Hosts Winter Recycling Education Program


The Incheon Environmental Corporation will hold a winter break recycling education program from February 28 to March 1 at the Cheongna Resource Circulation Center.

The program aims to help students understand the facility and learn about recycling through hands-on activities.

Activities include learning about local recycling centers and making terrariums with plants. Environmental guides and expert instructors will lead the sessions.




Incheon Expands ‘Women’s Safety Dream’ Project

Incheon’s ‘Women’s Safety Dream’ project, which provides security equipment for female-run businesses and households, has received positive feedback.

The city plans to expand the project this year.

The program supports women living alone and female business owners by providing security tools.

Single-person households receive a home safety set, including a CCTV camera, smart doorbell, door sensor, window lock, portable emergency alarm, and label remover.

Female-run stores receive emergency buttons that notify the police when pressed.
