Incheon Achieves ‘Excellent’ Rating in Data-Driven Administration for Second Year


Incheon City announced that it received an ‘Excellent’ rating in the 2024 Data-Driven Administration Evaluation released by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on February 14.

The evaluation assessed 679 organizations, including central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions. Incheon scored highly in data analysis, utilization, and data sharing.

By achieving the ‘Excellent’ rating for two consecutive years, Incheon has demonstrated its continued progress in data-driven administration.





Incheon to Recruit Students for Traditional Culture Class ‘Bojagi Craft Course’


The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center is now accepting applications for its traditional culture education program, the ‘Bojagi Craft Course.’

This course teaches bojagi wrapping techniques that connect tradition and modernity. Participants will learn bojagi knotting methods and practice various wrapping styles and decorative crafts.

The course runs from March 10 to April 7, with five sessions held every Monday. A total of 24 participants will be selected.

Priority registration is on February 21, while general registration runs from February 24 to 26. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through Incheon’s online integrated reservation system.






Incheon Youth Future Center Partners with Jung-gu Cultural Foundation


The Incheon Youth Future Center is partnering with the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation to support underprivileged youth.

The two organizations plan to help young people facing family caregiving responsibilities or social isolation by providing access to local resources and activities.

The foundation will offer free use of cultural spaces such as the Noodle Platform and the soon-to-open Naerimaru Cultural Shelter.

Additionally, they are planning programs that allow youth to explore the Jung-gu Open Port area using integrated admission tickets.

Incheon Relaunches Citizen Communication Network to Strengthen Public Engagement


Incheon City held a ‘Citizen Communication Network Kick-off’ meeting to enhance direct communication with residents and expand public participation in city governance.

The network, previously active during the 7th mayoral term, had been inactive for a year under the 8th term but has now resumed operations.

The city will collaborate with civic organization leaders to share policy directions and gather public opinions on local issues.

In addition to regular meetings, Incheon plans to incorporate citizen feedback into policies through seminars, forums, workshops, and media contributions.
