Incheon City is providing full-scale support for small exporters to expand overseas.


Incheon City is launching a range of support programs to strengthen the competitiveness of small exporting companies.

The city will provide financial assistance for individual export insurance and guarantees, as well as group insurance, for companies based in Incheon with annual exports of less than 20 million U.S. dollars.

Export guarantees will be supported up to one million won per company, and group insurance up to around 290,000 won.







Incheon begins the third round of its 3-6-9 walking challenge.


From June 4 to 24, Incheon City is hosting its third 3-6-9 Walking Challenge to promote public health and encourage residents to build daily walking habits.

This health campaign uses a smartphone app to track steps in real time. Participants who meet the set goals will receive incentives.

The challenge will be held monthly until November.






Incheon steps up efforts to boost local agricultural product sales.


Incheon City has announced plans to expand both online and offline direct markets to promote the sale of local agricultural and specialty products.

This initiative aims to support local farmers and fishers struggling with distribution and to provide high-quality local goods at reasonable prices.

A city official said they will actively promote Incheon’s top-quality products through various support policies and ensure stable sales channels.







All 36 mouthwash products inspected in Incheon passed safety tests.


Ahead of Oral Health Day, the Incheon Institute of Public Health and Environment tested 36 mouthwash products sold in local stores and confirmed that all of them met safety standards.

The products were collected from pharmacies, supermarkets, and household goods stores between March and May.

Fluoride levels, used for cavity prevention, ranged from 90.0 to 108.5 percent, well within the standard range. Antibacterial and deodorizing ingredients such as cetylpyridinium chloride, eucalyptol, L-menthol, methyl salicylate, and thymol also met the required safety levels.






Incheon discusses better healthcare cooperation on Baengnyeong Island.


Incheon City held a two-day workshop on Baengnyeong Island on May 29 and 30 to strengthen healthcare cooperation in the region.

The event focused on enhancing the public healthcare system and securing medical staff for Baengnyeong Hospital, a medically underserved facility.

Participants visited the hospital, reviewed the local medical environment, and shared case studies, including a senior doctor support project. A roundtable was also held to discuss workforce strategies.







Incheon Housing Corporation holds on-site training on compensation procedures.


The Incheon Housing Corporation has held its first-ever practical training session on compensation procedures for city and district-level public officials.

Led by experienced staff members from the compensation division, the training aimed to enhance understanding of essential compensation work involved in public infrastructure projects.

Participants engaged in real-world Q&A sessions, making the training especially effective and helpful for future public development efforts.






Incheon Metropolitan Council will open its first regular session of the year tomorrow.


The Incheon Metropolitan Council will begin its first regular session of the year on June 5. The session will run for 26 days until June 30.

Key agenda items include the 2024 budget settlement, approval of reserve fund spending, and reports on next year’s major budget plans and supplementary budgets.

The council will also appoint new members to the Special Committees on Budget and Ethics for the second half of its current term.
