Beaches in Incheon See a Busy First Weekend
Incheon’s beaches enjoyed a busy opening weekend as early summer weather arrived.According to Jung-gu, around 7,700 visitors came to Eulwangri, Hanagae Beach, and Wangsan Beach on Yeongjong Island between opening day and noon today.Three beaches in Jung-gu are now open, while nine beach sites in Ongjin-gun are scheduled to open in stages next month.
Incheon City Signs Agreement with FORCA to Expand Investment Attraction
Incheon Metropolitan City signed a cooperation agreement with the
Korea Foreign Company Association (FORCA) during the “2025 Incheon Investment Roundtable,” held on June 20–21 at the Inspire Resort Convention Center.
FORCA, established in 1978 with over 1,500 member companies, supports foreign investors by providing business environment information, proposing policies, and hosting Foreign Company Day.With this partnership, the city aims to strengthen its strategic collaboration with FORCA, actively seek foreign investment in Incheon, and expand the foundation for foreign direct investment through information sharing.
Incheon Completes 2025 Youth Policy Hackathon Event
Incheon Metropolitan City successfully held its "2025 Youth Policy Hackathon," designed to generate policy ideas from youth perspectives and strengthen solidarity among young people.Held in the city hall, the event drew around 80 members of the Incheon Youth Policy Network and was conducted in two sessions.A city official said they will continue to enhance communication with youth and support the Youth Policy Network to develop into a genuine youth governance body.
Incheon Holds Joint School Food Poisoning Response Drill
The City of Incheon recently carried out a joint simulation drill at Geumma Elementary School in Bupyeong-gu to prepare for potential food poisoning incidents.
Sixteen organizations participated in the exercise, including the Incheon Metropolitan Government, the Incheon Institute of Public Health and Environment, the Office of Education, district-level health and hygiene departments, and the school itself.
The drill was designed to test rapid and coordinated response systems and to strengthen on-site response capabilities in case of an actual outbreak.
The city expects the training to improve large-scale emergency readiness and further solidify inter-agency cooperation frameworks.
7th Class of “100 Dads” Program Begins Strong
Incheon City and the Incheon branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association hosted the launch and cultural performance for the 7th class of the ‘100 Dads of Incheon’ program on June 21 at the Incheon Northern Education & Culture Center.The ‘100 Dads of Incheon’ consists of fathers living in the city who have children aged 3 to 9. The group provides a space for dads to share parenting challenges and exchange tips.The launch offered a meaningful opportunity for participants to reaffirm their commitment to fatherhood.
Incheon Tourism Organization Hosts AI Digital Lecture Series for Tourism Industry
Incheon Tourism Organization will offer a “Digital AI Lecture Series” for tourism professionals, running Fridays from July 4 to 18.The three-session program aims to help industry workers understand AI technology trends and apply them practically in their work.Participants interested in ICT-based smart tourism can register through the Incheon Tourism Support Center or the Tourism eLearning portal.

Incheon City Council has laid a legal foundation to deepen understanding and pride in the region's islands.The Education Committee passed an ordinance to activate “Island Awareness Education” conducted by the Incheon Office of Education.This program aims to teach students about island and maritime culture in the Incheon region, enhancing their sense of local identity and raising awareness about the importance of marine environments.
