Incheon launches new dashboard to visualize cadastral statistics
Incheon Metropolitan City has launched a new public service called the “Incheon Cadastral Statistics Dashboard,” available through the Incheon Map Portal starting June 23.
Cadastral statistics are government-approved data compiled from registered land records, providing information such as the number and area of land parcels by administrative district, land category, and ownership.
The city has visualized cadastral data accumulated from 1971 to 2025 in a dashboard format to make it easier for the public to understand at a glance. A data library is also available for users to download related statistical materials.
Incheon HRD Center reopens newly renovated cafeteria after 38 years
The Incheon Human Resources Development Center has announced the completion of a full-scale renovation and expansion of its cafeteria building, which will officially reopen on July 7.
This is the first major renovation since the center opened in 1987. The
Project significantly improves the safety and hygiene of the aging kitchen facilities while creating a more pleasant dining environment for trainees and staff.
City officials expect the upgraded facility to greatly enhance user satisfaction through improved cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
Incheon cracks down on illegal taxi operations near Inspire Arena
Incheon Metropolitan City has carried out a late-night joint crackdown on illegal taxi activities around Inspire Arena, working in cooperation with Jung-gu District Office and Incheon Jungbu Police Station.
The operation took place on June 21, a Saturday when a large-scale concert was held at the venue.
Authorities focused on cracking down on practices such as overcharging passengers—including foreign visitors—soliciting passengers illegally, and operating without using the taxi meter. The city responded proactively in light of a growing number of complaints and reports from the public.
Incheon releases promotional webtoon to share public health and environmental information
The Incheon Institute of Health and Environment has launched a promotional webtoon titled Researcher Diaries of the Ieumies, designed to help citizens better understand the institute’s core functions and public health and environmental topics in an engaging and accessible way.
Webtoons effectively convey complex or technical content in an intuitive, easy-to-understand format, offering strong communication impact and lasting recall.
The new series uses the unique strengths of the webtoon format to present key research topics and real-life public health issues in a relatable and friendly manner.
Incheon Airport Corporation Delivers “Hope Boxes” to Korean War Veterans
To mark the Month of Patriots and Veterans, Incheon International Airport Corporation delivered “Hope Boxes” to veterans of the Korean War on June 20, expressing gratitude for their service.
A total of 2,300 Hope Boxes—filled with daily necessities and health supplements—were prepared and distributed to Korean War veterans across the country.
The company also made special home visits to about 30 households in the Incheon area, offering the care packages in person and sharing heartfelt messages of thanks, going beyond material support to express sincere appreciation.
7th Class of “100 Dads” Program Begins Strong
Incheon City and the Incheon branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association hosted the launch and cultural performance for the 7th class of the ‘100 Dads of Incheon’ program on June 21 at the Incheon Northern Education & Culture Center.The ‘100 Dads of Incheon’ consists of fathers living in the city who have children aged 3 to 9. The group provides a space for dads to share parenting challenges and exchange tips.The launch offered a meaningful opportunity for participants to reaffirm their commitment to fatherhood.
