Incheon hosts gathering to promote exchange and unity among women entrepreneurs


Incheon Metropolitan City said it hosted the Incheon Women Entrepreneurs Conference yesterday at Central Park Hotel in Songdo.

Organized by the Incheon branch of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, the event marked the 4th Women Entrepreneurs Week and the branch’s 26th anniversary under the theme “Women Entrepreneurs, the Key to Tomorrow’s Hope.”

It celebrated local women business leaders’ contributions to the regional economy and provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen unity and cooperation among them.

An Incheon city official said the city will continue to promote detailed support policies to make Incheon a more welcoming place for women entrepreneurs.






Incheon hosts 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards in Paradise City on July 18


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards, which it sponsors, will take place at Paradise City in Incheon on July 18 at 8:30 p.m.

Now in its fourth year, the awards will shine a spotlight on outstanding dramas, entertainment, and factual programs on major domestic and international streaming platforms from the past year.

The event will reflect on the current state of K-content and explore its future direction.

An Incheon city official said the city will continue to actively support creators and platforms as it leads the global digital content industry.






Yeongjong Sky Library runs reading program for children with developmental disabilities


Yeongjong Sky Library, a branch of Michuhol Library, announced it will operate a customized reading program for children with developmental disabilities in cooperation with Yeongjong Social Welfare Foundation from today through September 24.

The program was selected under the 2025 reading culture initiative by the National Library for the Disabled, aiming to expand cultural access and provide quality reading experiences for culturally vulnerable groups.

The library and welfare foundation designed the program to boost children’s interest in reading and foster familiarity with books and libraries.





Incheon Metropolitan City Museum signs cooperation agreement with Incheon National Maritime Museum


The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Incheon National Maritime Museum on July 15th in its seminar room.

The agreement aims to promote efficient marine culture projects and strengthen joint cooperation.

Opened in 1946, the city museum was Korea’s first public museum and has contributed to collecting, preserving, and educating the public on Incheon’s history and culture.

The two institutions shared a commitment to collaborate on marine cultural heritage and related projects. 





Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra opens applications for violin master class


The Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra is calling for participants in its violin master class, part of an educational program to foster classical talent in the region.

Applications will be accepted by email from August 4 to August 8.

The free, four-hour individual lessons will be held without piano accompaniment, and all selected participants must complete the full program.






Incheon invites families for summer “Unification Culture Experience”


To mark the summer vacation, Incheon Metropolitan City announced it will run “Meeting Unification in Incheon”, a family-friendly cultural experience program at the Incheon Unification Plus Center.

The event offers a variety of interactive activities designed to raise awareness of peace and reunification.

All programs are free, and registration opens at 10 a.m. on July 14 via the center’s official blog.





Incheon Office of Education launches summer safety experience program


From July 28 to August 14, the Incheon Office of Education will run a safety experience program at the Student Safety Experience Center for students, parents, and city residents.

Through hands-on and immersive experiences, participants can learn how to respond to crisis situations.

Applications open July 14 at 10 a.m. and close August 12 at 5 p.m., and registration is available via the center’s website or the Incheon Office of Education’s integrated reservation system.

A city education official said, “Tomorrow’s safety starts with today’s experience,” adding that they aim to provide more opportunities for citizens to learn crisis response skills.
