IFEZ to Host 2nd Gyeongwonjae Citizen Festival on October 14–15

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) announced that it will hold the 2nd Gyeongwonjae Citizen Festival, titled 2025 Dongne Hanbaqwi Gyeongwonjae by Walkerhill, over two days from October 14 to 15 at the Gyeongwonjae Hanok Hotel.

Following its rebranding from Gyeongwonjae Hanok Hotel to Gyeongwonjae by Walkerhill in May, the festival aims to allow residents to experience the renewed Gyeongwonjae up close. The hotel will be open to the public from 3 to 8:30 PM during the festival period.

This year’s festival offers a rich feast of gastronomy, culture, and healing, set against the backdrops of a Hanok (traditional Korean house), merging tradition with modern sensibilities.





Incheon Honors 66 Exemplary Citizens for Good Deeds in Q3 2025

On October 13, Incheon City presented commendations to 66 individuals in the city council hall who have quietly dedicated themselves to serving local communities, marking its third-quarter Exemplary Citizen Awards.

Each quarter, the city shortlists nominees via district-level recommendations and on-site verification, recognizing citizens who have performed acts of altruism—such as life-saving efforts, talent donations, and support for vulnerable groups.

The ceremony was held in a warm atmosphere, with awardees, their family members, and associates gathering to celebrate and encourage good deeds in their communities.





“Dreaming of Longevity and Health” Exhibition Opens at Incheon City Hall Station Museum

Incheon Metropolitan City Museum announced that the exhibition titled “Dreaming of Longevity and Health“ by artist Kang Chul will run through October 20 at the Open Museum located in Incheon City Hall Station on Incheon Subway Line 1.

The exhibition explores humanity’s enduring fascination with healthy life and longevity—from past to present—infused with imaginative elements drawn from Korean folk painting traditions. It reinterprets the themes of “dreaming mind” and “longevity without sickness” through a unique artistic lens.

Visitors can attend free of charge during subway operating hours. The exhibition space is located underground level 3 near Exit 1 and 9 of Incheon City Hall Station.





Incheon Wraps Up ‘Safe Tap Water Festival’ in Celebration of Citizens’ Day

The Incheon Waterworks Authority under the Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it successfully concluded the Incheon Safe Tap Water Festival, held on October 11 in conjunction with the 61st Citizens’ Day celebration.

The event was organized to promote a culture of drinking tap water and to raise public awareness and positivity toward Incheon Haneul Water.

A city official noted, “We will continue to expand various promotional and experiential opportunities so that citizens can naturally enjoy Incheon Haneul Water in their everyday lives.”





[News] Incheon Office of Education to Host the 4th Incheon GCED Festival

The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education will host the 4th Incheon Global Citizen Education Festival from October 28 to 29 at Songdo Convensia.

First launched in 2022, this event has been Korea’s only GCED (global citizenship education) festival open to students, parents, educators, and citizens.

The venue will be organized into two themed zones — The World in Incheon and Incheon in the World — where visitors can engage in hands-on experiences related to global resources and world citizenship education.
