A One-Day Family Prehistoric Culture Experience in Geomdan on November 22
The Incheon Geomdan Prehistory Museum announced that it will host a cultural experience event, “Seonsarang Woorirang,” on November 22 to mark the 17th anniversary of its opening.
Opened in 2008, the Geomdan Prehistory Museum showcases artifacts from various historical periods uncovered during the urban development of western Incheon—such as Geomdan New Town, Wondang District, and Bullo District—through exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural experience events.
The event, taking place on Saturday, November 22, is open to visitors of all ages, including children, and will offer a variety of family-friendly programs, all free of charge.
Incheon City to Temporarily Halt Operation of Susan Water Purification Plant from the 25th… Tap Water Supply to Remain Normal
The Incheon Waterworks Headquarters announced that the operation of the Susan Water Treatment Plant will be temporarily suspended from November 25 to 27 to carry out construction for the plant’s advanced water treatment facilities. However, the city plans to maintain normal tap water service without any outages through a water system switchover.
The suspension period will last 52 hours, from 10 a.m. on November 25 to 2 p.m. on November 27.
To minimize inconvenience to residents during the construction period, the Waterworks Headquarters will secure maximum reservoir water levels and supply water from the Namdong, Gongchon, and Bupyeong purification plants through a phased water system switchover, ensuring stable tap water service without interruption.

Incheon announced that it held the “2025 Labor-Management-Civil Society Council Meeting” today (the 14th) in the Nanum Conference Room of City Hall’s main building.

Jung-gu Opens Hands-On ‘Children’s Traffic Park’ in Yeongjong Anyanggol
A “Children’s Traffic Park,” where children can learn traffic safety through play, has opened inside Anyanggol Park (1740-19, Unnam-dong) in Yeongjong Sky City, Jung-gu, Incheon.
The “Anyanggol Children’s Traffic Park” is a newly created experiential safety education space designed to help children experience traffic situations in an environment similar to real roads, cultivate safety awareness, and prevent accidents.
With a total project cost of 1.5 billion won, the park is equipped with various experiential facilities that reflect actual traffic systems—such as traffic lights, crosswalks, and a roundabout—along with a bicycle practice area, children’s playground equipment, rest shelters, and outdoor exercise machines.
Incheon’s Ongjin-gun Deploys Wildlife Control Teams to Islands to Prevent Damage
Ongjin-gun in Incheon announced that, from the 17th until the end of February next year, it will dispatch wildlife control teams to each township to capture wild boars and harmful wild birds.
The primary purpose of the deployment is to capture wild boars, which have continued to appear since the summer. With the harvest season underway, the county will also work to deter harmful wild birds—such as crows—that damage crops, particularly in the Baengnyeong and Daecheong areas.
Ongjin-gun plans to analyze capture data and consider introducing additional equipment such as new trapping cages and installations. The county emphasized that it will prioritize resident safety and the protection of agricultural products in its response efforts.
Incheon’s Yeonsu-gu to Pilot Public Buses in Songdo and Expand Parking in Original Downtown Areas
Yeonsu-gu in Incheon announced that it will introduce public buses to transportation-vulnerable areas such as Songdo-dong and expand public parking facilities by 413 spaces in original downtown where parking shortages are severe.
The district unveiled its “Public Bus and Transportation Infrastructure Improvement Project” and will hold resident briefings from the 12th to the 14th to gather public feedback.
To address the chronic parking shortage in the old downtown area, the district plans to secure an additional 413 parking spaces at the Yeonsu Station South Public Parking Lot, the Songdo Station Three-way Intersection Public Parking Lot, and the Matgoeul-gil Parking Tower.
Incheon’s Gyeyang-gu to Open ‘2025 Christmas Festa’ on the 20th
Incheon’s Gyeyang-gu announced that it will host the “2025 Christmas Festa” at the Gyeyang Araon area to celebrate the upcoming year-end season.
The lighting ceremony marking the start of the event will take place on the 20th at 5:30 p.m. on the northern stage of Gyeyang Araon.
The Gyeyang Araon Tree Village will operate until the end of January next year, offering citizens a variety of attractions and photo zones connected to the “Street of Lights,” providing a festive and enjoyable experience.
