테마로 ‘인천시-IFEZ관’을 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.
CES는 매년1월 미국라스베이거스에서 개최되며, 최신 기술트렌드와 글로벌비즈니스가 집약되는 혁신의 장으로 평가받습니다.
Incheon to present its AI City vision at CES 2026
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will take part in CES, the world’s largest information technology exhibition, for the third consecutive year. The event will serve as a global stage to introduce Incheon’s vision for an AI-powered city.
CES 2026 will be held in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9 next year. During the exhibition, the authority will operate the Incheon City–IFEZ Pavilion. The pavilion will feature the theme, “Destination Incheon: From Smart City to AI City, the Next Evolution of Urban Life.”
CES is held every January in Las Vegas. It is widely regarded as a leading platform for global technology trends.

Incheon honors local heroes with the 2025 Incheon Person of the Year Awards
Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Love Movement Center held the 2025 Incheon People of the Year Awards ceremony yesterday.
9 individuals and 1 organization were selected as this year’s recipients. They were recognized for their active contributions across various fields throughout the year.
Now in its eleventh year, the awards were first launched in 2015. The program continues to highlight citizens who have contributed to the city’s growth and community values.

(뉴스용)인천시, 정부 복지사업 평가에서 최우수상 2개 받아
인천광역시가 정부의 복지사업 평가에서 최우수상 2개를 받는 영예를 안았습니다.
인천광역시는 보건복지부 주관 ‘2024년 지역사회보장계획 시행결과 평가’에서 시·도 부문 최우수 자치단체, ‘2025년 지역복지사업 평가’에서 최우수상을 각각 받았다고 밝혔습니다.
이로써 인천시는 지난 2020년 보장계획 평가 결과 최우수 자치단체로 선정된 이후 5년 연속으로 수상하는 쾌거를 거뒀습니다.
Incheon wins two top honors in national welfare policy evaluations
Incheon Metropolitan City has received two highest-level awards in government evaluations of welfare programs.
The city was named the top metropolitan government in the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s assessment of the 2024 Community Social Security Plan. Incheon also earned the highest prize in the 2025 Regional Welfare Program Assessment.
This marks the city’s fifth consecutive year of recognition, following its first top honor in 2020.

인천광역시가 행정안전부 주관의 ‘민생회복 소비쿠폰’ 우수 지자체 평가에서 최우수 지자체로 선정되었습니다.
이번 평가는 전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 지난 7월부터 실시되었던 1차와 2차 소비쿠폰 집행과 관련하여 소비쿠폰 지급 실적, 사용처 확대, 신청과 지급 편의성 제고, 홍보 및 우수사례 등을 종합적으로 심사하여 이루어졌습니다.
인천시는 모든 평가지표에서 우수한 성과를 달성하여 대외적으로 역량을 입증받았으며, 시 본청이 최우수 지자체로서 특별교부세 5억 원, 인천시 군·구들이 특별교부세 14.5억 원을 받아 도합 19.5억 원을 확보하는 쾌거를 거뒀습니다.
Incheon named nation’s top local government for livelihood recovery consumer coupon program
Incheon Metropolitan City has been selected as the nation’s best-performing local government for the Livelihood Recovery Consumer Coupon program.
The evaluation was conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and reviewed 243 local governments nationwide. It assessed 2 rounds of consumer coupon distribution carried out since this July.
Incheon recorded top results across all evaluation categories. As a result, the city secured a total of 1.95 billion won in special government grants.

(뉴스용)인천 중구, '24시간 운영 의료기관'에 영종국제병원 지정
인천시 중구는 성세의료재단 영종국제병원과 '24시간 문(Moon)여는 의료기관 운영지원 사업협약'을 맺었다고 밝혔습니다.
이번 협약으로 영종국제병원은 내년부터 2028년까지 장염, 열상 등 경증 응급환자를 대상으로 24시간 의료서비스를 제공합니다.
현재 영종도에는 종합병원은 물론 중증 응급환자를 치료하는 응급의료기관이 없어 주민 불편이 이어지고 있습니다.
Jung-gu designates Yeongjong International Hospital as 24-hour medical facility
Jung-gu in Incheon announced that it has signed an agreement with Yeongjong International Hospital to support the operation of a 24-hour medical institution.
Under the agreement, the hospital will provide round-the-clock medical services for patients with minor emergency conditions, such as gastroenteritis and lacerations, from next year through 2028.
Currently, Yeongjong Island lacks both a general hospital and an emergency medical facility capable of treating severe emergency cases, causing ongoing inconvenience for local residents.

(뉴스용)인천 시내버스, 2033년까지 전기·수소차로 전면 교체
인천시는 준공영제로 운영 중인 시내버스를 오는 2033년까지 모두 친환경 차량으로 교체할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.
시는 재정 효율성을 높이고 정부의 탄소중립 정책에 부응하는 차원에서 압축천연가스(CNG)를 연료로 쓰는 버스를 전기와 수소 등 친환경 차량으로 전면 교체하기로 했습니다.
아울러 시는 버스 편의시설을 확충하고 버스 모니터단 활동을 강화해 2억6천만명 수준인 버스 이용객을 2030년까지 3억명으로 확대할 방침입니다.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced plans to replace all city buses operating under the semi-public system with electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles by 2033.
The move will phase out buses fueled by compressed natural gas, as part of efforts to improve fiscal efficiency and align with the government’s carbon neutrality policy.
The city also plans to expand bus convenience facilities and strengthen its monitoring program, with the goal of increasing annual ridership from around 260 million passengers to 300 million by 2030.

인천광역시는 원도심의 만성적인 주차난 해소를 위해 추진 중인 ‘원도심 집중 주차 20만 면 확보 계획’에 따라, 2026년에 주차공급과 주차공유를 합쳐 총 3만 3,500면의 주차 공간을 확보할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.현재 인천시의 전체 주차장 확보율은 2024년 기준 108.1%로 특·광역시 중 5위 수준이나, 아파트를 제외한 원도심의 주차장 확보율은 48.5%에 그쳐 지역 간 주차 환경의 불균형이 심각한 상황입니다.
이에 인천시는 2030년까지 원도심 주차장 확보율을 기존 43%에서 80%까지 끌어올리는 것을 목표로, 주차장 공급 6만 면과 주차공유 14만 면을 포함한 총 20만 면 확보 프로젝트를 단계적으로 추진하고 있습니다.
Incheon to secure 33,500 parking spaces by 2026 as part of all-out effort to ease shortages
Incheon Metropolitan City announced it will secure a total of 33,500 parking spaces by 2026, combining new parking supply with shared parking initiatives. The plan is part of the city’s broader project to address chronic parking shortages in older downtown areas.
While Incheon’s overall parking supply rate stood at 108.1 percent as of 2024, availability in older districts excluding apartment complexes remained at 48.5 percent.
The city aims to raise that figure to 80 percent by 2030 through a phased project to secure a total of 200,000 parking spaces.
