이번 방문은 송도를 ‘아시아의 케임브리지 사이언스파크’로 육성하기 위한 협력 방안을 모색하고, 연구·투자·행정이 결합된 혁신 생태계를 인천에 구축하기 위해 추진됐습니다.
유정복 시장은 케임브리지 바이오메디컬 캠퍼스 현장을 둘러보고, 케임브리지대학교에서 폴 브리스토(Paul Bristow) 케임브리지셔·피터버러 광역시장과 앤디 파커(Andy Parker) 피터하우스 학장을 만나 협력 방안을 논의했습니다.
이미 세계 최대 규모의 바이오 의약품 생산도시인 인천이 케임브리지 클러스터의 연구개발 및 산업 역량과 결합하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 인천경제청은 벤처투자사 살로니카(Salonica)와 업무협약을 체결했습니다.
Incheon Mayor Seeks Cooperation With Cambridge University for Bio Cluster Cooperation
Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok has laid the groundwork for a strategic partnership with Cambridge University in efforts to elevate Songdo International City’s status as a global bio-innovation hub. The mayor’s visit to the university on Feb. 25 (local time) was arranged to explore cooperation measures to foster Songdo as “Asia’s Cambridge Science Park” and to build an innovation ecosystem in Incheon that integrates research, investment, and administration. The mayor toured the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and met with Paul Bristow, Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and Andy Parker, Master of Peterhouse, at the University of Cambridge to discuss collaboration plans. Additionally, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with venture capital firm Salonica, to explore ways of combining Incheon, already the world’s largest bio-pharmaceutical production city, with the research and industrial capabilities of the Cambridge cluster.

(뉴스용) 인천시, 청년·기업 상생하는‘청년 고용안심 지원 사업’시행
인천광역시는 지역 청년의 실업 해소와 안정적인 지역 정착을 지원하기 위해 올해부터 ‘인천 청년 고용안심 지원 사업’을 본격 시행한다고 밝혔습니다.
이번 사업은 행정안전부의 ‘지역주도형 청년일자리 사업’ 종료에 대응해 인천시가 자체적으로 마련한 신규 정책입니다.
본 사업은 인천 소재 중소․중견기업이 인천 거주 청년을 정규직으로 채용할 경우 기업과 청년 모두에게 혜택을 제공하는 것이 핵심입니다.
기업에는 청년 근로자 1인당 월 60만 원의 인건비를 최대 12개월간 지원하고, 청년에게는 장기근속을 유도하기 위해 6개월 및 12개월 이상 근무 시 각각 60만 원씩, 총 120만 원의 근속 혜택을 인천 지역화폐(인천e음 카드)로 지급합니다.
Incheon Launches ‘Youth Employment Stability Program’
Incheon Metropolitan City will fully launch the “Incheon Youth Employment Stability Program” this year to address youth unemployment and support stable settlement in the region. The initiative is a newly established policy created by the city in response to the conclusion of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s “Region-Driven Youth Employment Project.” The core of the project is to provide benefits to both companies and youth when small and medium-sized companies based in Incheon hire Incheon-resident youth as full-time employees. Participating companies will receive up to 600,000 won per month per youth employee for a maximum of 12 months. Young employees will receive long-term employment incentives of 600,000 won after six months of service and another 600,000 won after 12 months, for a total of 1.2 million won, paid in the local currency or Incheon e-eum card.

(뉴스용) 인천시, 도시공원내맨발산책로안전성정밀조사실시
인천광역시는 최근 ‘맨발 걷기’ 열풍으로 도시공원 내 맨발산책로 이용객이 급증함에 따라, 시민들이 보다 안전하게 시설을 이용할 수 있도록 인천시 최초로 ‘맨발산책로 토양안전성 실태조사’를 본격적으로 실시한다고 밝혔습니다.
조사는 시민의 피부가 직접 닿는 맨발산책로의 특성을 고려해, 토양 내 잠재적인 건강 위해 요소를 사전에 차단하고 시민 불안을 해소하기 위해 추진됩니다.
조사 대상은 인천시 도시공원에 조성된 맨발산책로 75개소(황토, 마사토 등)로, 카드뮴(Cd) 등 중금속 8종의 기준 적합 여부와 기생충(란) 검출 여부를 중점적으로 검사할 예정입니다.
분석이 완료되는 대로 결과를 인천시 공원 누리집(인천의 공원) 등을 통해 공개하고, 기준에 부적합한 시설에 대해서는 즉각적인 이용 제한과 보완 조치를 시행할 예정입니다.
Incheon To Conduct Detailed Inspection Of Barefoot Walking Paths at Parks
Incheon Metropolitan City will conduct the city’s first comprehensive soil safety inspection of barefoot walking paths in urban parks to ensure safer use of the facilities. The announcement comes amid the recent surge in popularity of barefoot walking. The inspection is being carried out in consideration of the characteristics of barefoot paths, where citizens’ skin comes into direct contact with the soil, to proactively block potential health hazards and ease public concerns. The survey will cover 75 barefoot walking paths created in urban parks across Incheon. The inspection will focus on compliance with standards for eight heavy metals, including cadmium, as well as the detection of parasites. Once the analysis is complete, the results will be disclosed through the Incheon Parks website, and facilities that fail to meet standards will be subject to immediate usage restrictions and corrective measures.

인천테크노파크(인천TP)는 유니버설디자인리빙랩 장비를 활용한 기업 대상 공동활용 사업을 오는 3월 31일까지 무상 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.
이번 사업은 실제 사용자의 체험을 기반으로 제품·서비스의 편리성과 안전성을 분석하는 사용성 조사 장비 지원과 실물 수준 출력이 가능한 고성능 3D프린팅 지원을 포함합니다.
운영은 인천종합비즈니스센터 1층 유니버설디자인리빙랩에서 진행되며, 제품 개선 방향 도출부터 시제품 제작까지 연계 지원합니다.
사용성 조사 장비는 ▲영상동작분석시스템 ▲근전도계(EMG) ▲압력측정기 등 3종으로 구성되며, 3D프린팅 장비는 ▲컬러 3D프린터 ▲연속섬유 기반 복합재 3D프린터 등 2종을 지원합니다.
Incheon Technopark Offers Free Shared-use Program For UD Living Lab Equipment
Incheon Technopark will operate a free shared-use program for companies utilizing equipment at the Universal Design (UD) Living Lab through March 31. The program includes support for usability testing equipment that analyzes product and service convenience and safety based on real user experiences, as well as high-performance 3D printing capable of producing near-final prototypes. Program operations will take place at the UD Living Lab located on the first floor of the Incheon Integrated Business Center, and linked support, from identifying product improvement directions to prototype production, will also be provided. Usability testing equipment consists of three types: a video motion analysis system, an electromyography device, and a pressure measurement system. The 3D printing support includes two types of equipment: a color 3D printer and a continuous fiber-based composite 3D printer.

옹진군은 올해 상반기 쿠폰 정산 시스템을 구축한 뒤 하반기부터 덕적도와 자월도에서 쿠폰 지급 사업을 시범 운영할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.
유료 관광지 입장권을 구매한 관광객에게 카페와 식당 등 가맹점에서 현금처럼 사용할 수 있는 일정액의 쿠폰을 지급하는 사업입니다.
시범사업 대상 관광지는 지난해 11월 덕적면 소야도에 문을 연 도예 체험장 '소야랑'과 다음 달 4일 정식 개관하는 자월도의 '자월달빛천문과학관' 2곳입니다.
Ongjin-gun To Provide Cash-like Coupons With Paid Tourist Attraction Tickets
Incheon’s Ongjin-gun will launch a coupon program linked to paid tourist attractions to boost tourism on the islands. After establishing a coupon settlement system in the first half of this year, Ongjin-gun plans to pilot the program in the second half on Deokjeok Island and Jawol Island. Tourists who purchase tickets to paid attractions will receive coupons of a certain value that can be used like cash at affiliated businesses such as cafes and restaurants. The pilot program will apply to two attractions: the pottery experience center “Soyarang,” which opened in November last year on Soya Island in Deokjeok-myeon, and Jawol Island’s “Jawol Moonlight Astronomy Science Museum,” which is scheduled to officially open on March 4th.
