Incheon Launches 2035 Housing Master Plan
Incheon Metropolitan City is launching a comprehensive study to establish its 2035 Housing Master Plan, a long-term roadmap aimed at promoting housing stability and improving residential living conditions.
The year-long project, which will run for twelve months from June 17 through June of next year, will be carried out by the Incheon Institute, the city’s policy research organization.
The study will review the validity of the current 2030 housing plan, align local policies with national housing strategies, and incorporate the housing policy priorities of the newly elected ninth local administration.
City officials say the plan will help Incheon respond proactively to changing demographic trends, including a declining birthrate, a rapidly aging population, and a sharp increase in single-person households, while also reflecting recent developments in the housing market.
