‘Incheon Metropolitan City Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters’ for control and containment of avian influenza in operation (from Dec.3)

- 7 working group teams were organized and the situation management team is under the 24-hours emergency working system

 

Check on colatecs about their compliance of infection control measures:

   - All 16 colatecs operating in Incheon were closed

Testing of 403 people at publicly used facilities linked to confirmed cases

   (Positive: 5, Negative: 268, Testing in progress: 130)

 

[Major test results]

- Out of 85 people related to Incheon Jaeneung University, 3 tested positive, 67 negative and 15 is under testing.

- Out of 157 people related to a church Incheon-1472 visited, 1 tested positive and 156 negative.

- Testing of 60 people related to a church Incheon-1462 visited is in progress

- Testing of 42 people who visited the Sorae Port branch of Lotteria is in progress

 

One step forward national subsidies of 5 trillion won

Incheon secures the largest ever national subsidies of 4.798 trillion won

 

- Up by 9.2% of national subsidies YOY (3.700 trillion won 4,041 trillion won)

- Major new and expanded projects

   To establish a public pediatric rehabilitation hostpital (240 million won)

   To extend the Seoul metro Line 7 to Cheongna International City (8.66 billion won)

   To established the 119 Cheminal Response Center (500 million won)

   To construct the Gyeyang-Ganghwa expressway (1 billion won)

   To buid the National Ocean Museum (500 million won for purchasing relics)

   To create a global course for aviation MRO (250 milllion won)
